HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
2 walks this week to ease us out of the chocolate period and into a new year of exciting adventures.
Thursday- meet at 10 am out the council offices for a leisurely stroll to Brungerley Park. Approximately 1.5 hours walking slow and steady.
Friday- meet at 1 o'clock at Springwood car park in Whalley (BB7 9AF) for a walk around the woods and into Whalley. 2 hours walking. Please book via the comments or email catherine.argyle@ribblevalley.gov.uk 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 please dress for the cold weather and snow. Routes may change to adapt to the weather conditions.

Boxing Day walk !!!!!

🐶🎄🥾 Boxing Day Dog Walk 🥾🎄🐶

Shake off the Christmas snooze and join us for our festive Boxing Day dog walk!

Meet at 9:30am at the pub for bacon butties and a brew, then we’ll head out on our 3-mile circular walk at 10am.

There’s no charge — we just ask for a small donation to Pendle Dogs In Need.
If you’re joining us, please let us know so we’ve got enough butties ready!

Fresh air, wagging tails, and good company… the perfect Boxing Day tradition. ❤️🐾

We have one walk this week and our final outing for 2025. Thursday meet at 10 o'clock at the council offices for a 2.5-hour stroll around the outskirts of Clitheroe. Please wear boots as we may cross fields. Route may change depending on the weather. We will aim to finish at Swales cafe at 12.30 so if the walk isn't for you, please join us later. Christmas jumper essential, Santa outfit optional. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible to celebrate the holiday season and make plans for next year. There are Christmas markets and a light switch on today at Holmes Mill in clitheroe from 12 o’clock. Time for a walk before getting in the Christmas spirit? Sunday steps count as double !!!!

The festive season officially begins at Holmes Mill with our Markets and Light Switch On this Sunday, 7th December - and we’d love for you to join us!
