The Denise Park practice is a world-renowned physiotherapy clinic providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders to both elite athletes and the general public. Since our creation in 1989 we have been committed to helping people achieve their individual goals and employ a diverse range of treatment techniques to achieve this. We regard our physiotherapists’ strong emphasis on “hands-on” treatment approaches, such as massage, mobilisations and manipulations, as key to our success, and we also have a dedicated remedial and sports masseur. In addition, our physiotherapists utilise other treatment techniques, such as electrotherapies, traction, acupuncture and exercises in order to help achieve the best possible outcomes. We pride ourselves in accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment, but if by any chance we can’t sort you, we hopefully know someone who can! Denise Park is the only physiotherapist to receive accreditation from the World Mountain Running Association for her work with fell and mountain runners and was recognised as the world leading expert in this field in 2011 when she was invited to write a chapter in a medical textbook (Adventure and Extreme Sports Injuries). She has been the physiotherapist to the England Mountain Running Team for 10 years and has worked with 7 World Champions. All our other therapists also have experience of either treating elite athletes or competing in sports at an international level.
