🌼 Easter Bank Holiday Reminder 🌼
With GP practices closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, please make sure you:
✅ Order repeat prescriptions in good time
✅ Check you have any essential medicines at home
🕑 Some pharmacies across the county will still be open over the Bank Holiday period — please check your local pharmacy’s opening times in advance.

💙 For urgent medical help that isn’t life-threatening, NHS 111 is available 24/7, online or by phone, offering quick advice and directing you to the right service.
🩹 Minor Injury Units (MIUs) are also open and can treat non-life-threatening issues such as sprains, minor fractures, burns and cuts.

Thank you to all who responded to my post about hypnosis recently. I will be contacting those I haven’t yet been in touch with over the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, I need one or two people who would like to change something in their lives. This may be a behaviour, or an aspect of a relationship they are unhappy with, but not what would usually fall into the category of addictions (like smoking or drinking) at this stage thanks.

Please note the Practice will take part in mandatory training on Wednesday the 4th March from 1pm.

Services are provided by Health Hero via 111, these are available for all urgent appointments, prescriptions and queries during this afternoon, however patients will still be able to access the Practice via the phone, online routine consultations and front desk reception.

If you feel your query is urgent please ring 111.
For any life threatening matters please dial 999.

Because of the snow, the surgery will be CLOSED initially this morning until we can work out what sort of service it will be possible to offer.
We will post an update at 11am.
Until then, please call 111 for any problems that really can’t wait (or, of course, 999 as always for an emergency)

The UK is facing a long, drawn-out flu season, the boss of the NHS in England is warning.

Sir Jim Mackey said there is "no doubt" this winter will be one of the toughest the health service has faced.

It comes as flu rates have started climbing early this year, which is causing concern because the winter vaccination campaign has only just got under way and there are lots of vulnerable people yet to get protected.

NHS England is issuing a "flu jab SOS", urging those eligible for the free vaccine to come forward quickly for it.

FLU CLINIC 13 November

We are running a flu clinic on Thursday 13 November for all eligible patients.

If you are eligible and haven't had your flu jab give us a ring and we can book an appointment.
