Scrubs for ALL

We're delighted to share that the Red Dragon Flagmakers team has been nominated for a St David's (Community Spirit) Award for our ongoing work as a social mission business and our SCRUBS for ALL effort.

None of the SCRUBS effort would have been possible without generous donations from our lovely clients from within private, ecclesiastical and corporate arenas and none of the thousands of tunics and trousers donated out to front line workers and care home providers would have been made if it werent for the sheer good humour and willingness to help of our many amazing volunteers and staff.

If we win this award it will be because of EVERYONE who put their back to the wheel to make it happen. Fingers crossed!

As the Covid19 pandemic rolls on, we continue to make SCRUBS to order in our Clydach factory for front line workers - in navy format ONLY.

We make SCRUBS FOR ALL in our UK workshop and sell direct to NHS and frontline carers and workers at affordable prices. Delivery is 3-7 days and all SCRUBS are made to order.

Absolutely appalled today to hear that some of the red scrubs we have donated out to care homes have not yet been worn as their Head Office has not given permission to wear them.

Please. If you request scrubs, paid for through the fundraiser and paid for out of the generosity of people's kind hearts, please wear them or return them to us so we can redistribute them out to those who will wear and make good use of them. Even better, check you have permission to use them before asking for them.

At the very least we would like to receive photos of the scrubs in use to share with people who have donated their money to pay for them.

Alarming article in the Guardian today on the continuing lack of availability of scrubs UK wide.

Our fundraiser is still open for donations and we're working our way through the hundreds of requests for donated tunics and trousers already received. The more money we raise, the more scrubs we can donate out. Please spread the word.

If you can sew and would like to join our growing army of sewing adonis and goddess(!) volunteers, please message us your details and contact number so we can get the precut scrub kits to you.

Everything included including step by step instructions and thread.
