Yoga Place Abertawe is a dedicated Yoga Studio & Therapy Centre in the heart of Clydach Johns Church, in the heart of the Clydach community.

Yoga Place Abertawe is a dedicated Yoga Studio, located in the beautiful St. We take the traditional practices of Yoga and make them accessible to everyone, no matter age, experience or needs. We also offer a ranger of holistic and therapeutic treatments from our 3 Yoga Place Therapy Rooms including Remedial, Sports Injury, Swedish Aromatherapy & Pregnancy Massages and Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Counselling for adults, children & young people, as well as CBT. Also enjoy Reike and Mindfulness. Our door is open to community events bringing the people of Clydach and surroundings areas together through local activities. Come join us on the Yoga mat for daily classes, weekend workshops, courses and events… in the practices of Hatha, Hatha Flow, Yoga for Beginners and Dynamic Yoga, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra, and Pregnancy Yoga, Mum & Baby, Birth Preparation as well as Yoga for the whole Family, there is also Fab & Over 50 and Very Gentle Yoga classes. We also share some amazing workshops in Kundalini, Kirtan, Sound and Gong Bath and Mindfulness as well as Therapeutic Yoga. Basically, we have a class or workshop for everyone, no matter how old, how young, if you have never tried Yoga before or you are a more advanced student, we look forward to seeing you on the mat at Yoga Place Abertawe.

Our Perinatal Therapists provide ~ Yoga practices to support the changes of the pregnant body and mind, infuse confidence and prepare for birth, and as you welcome baby, sharing precious time together, as does our Hypnotherapist .hypnotherapy , as she tailors the sessions to your own needs, fears and concerns. gives you a time to be eased through safe and deeply relaxing pregnancy massage, while is on hand to provide natural remedies through your whole journey for you and for baby.

This November we continue to bring to you all the practices we love to do and therefore love to share!

As well as weekly Yoga classes & an amazing Therapy Team, we also have Yoga at the Watersfalls, National Trust Tin Works Aberdulais this Friday 7th and a date pending for our Wild Weather at Glantawe Riverside.

Ruth is back with her hugely popular Thursday evening Gong Bath end of the month - 27th Nov, and SOULbeing Holistics shares a stunning Cacao Ceremony and Sound Healing Retreat on a Sunday afternoon on the 23rd Nov, time to welcome the bliss.

Our monthly Thursdays continue with Yin this week, Somatics next and Yoga Nidra the week after that.

We also have a full team for pregnancy, birth & postnatal support with yoga, massage, homeopathy & birthing hypnosis.

We aim to give authentic yoga taught with a passion created through years of our own experiences which we want to share with you.

As we welcome the beauty of Autumn we continue our monthly Retreats in the stunning and historical grounds of The National Trust Tin Works, Aberdulais Waterfalls.

Come and join us in a cosy space, with heated floor and wall to wall windows, which creates the feeling of practicing under the most incredible tree, with its huge canopy.

This practice is for all, (no standing or kneeling or up and down) combining the elements of Yoga to revive you and restore you. There will also be tea and homemade cakes.

Bring a mat, or blanket and cushion ready for an afternoon of sheer bliss.

Our Story

Yoga Place & Therapies comes from the roots of 20 years of studio experience in sharing the practices of Yoga and an amazing range of therapies to students from London to Wales and beyond.

The years of experience we have, has guided us to how we teach Yoga to you, and our ethos is to nurture and nourish not to bend and break.

At Yoga Place you will be in the hands of passionate and authentic yoga teaches, teachers who have dedicated themselves to Yoga and all it offers, and will teach you from their hearts and souls, classes they have created, having studied to ensure what they share means you are in the best possible hands no matter if you are naturally agile or a complete solid plank and at any age, with whatever kind of requirements you want to throw at us.

WE MAKE THE YOGA FIT YOU, NOT FORCE YOU TO FIT THE YOGA

Because of our location, home in the beautiful church of St. Johns, Clydach, we offer you a spacious place to practice yoga, ensuring you are not piled on top of each other, room to move and room to breathe.

Following the Government & British Wheel of Yoga Guidelines we are still able to offer you a sanctuary to step away from the craziness and enjoy some normal time out.

All our therapists are delighted to be back with you, and are happy to respond to any questions you may have regarding booking and enjoying an appointment. Please call them direct to book with them.

So, come and join us… dip in your toe, or jump right in. We offer daily classes, for a range of levels and likes, specialist Yoga from pregnancy, baby, super gentle, somatic and more…. Therapies from talking to relaxing and healing with highly skilled and qualified professionals.

The only thing we ask is, you follow the Government Guidelines, keep 2 meters apart, sanitise on arrival. When coming to class BOOK ahead, bring a pillow case, a cushion and a blanket and come 5 mins before class starts and when coming to a Therapy to come at the time of your appointment. We are a shoe free studio and our aim is to welcome you through our door with a big smile and a friendly hello!
