We had some very special little visitors with us today as nursery children came in to spend time with our residents 💛

There were smiles all around as everyone enjoyed games, laughter, and precious moments together. The children made valentines cards for our residents as well. 💖Intergenerational visits like these bring so much joy — our residents loved the energy and fun the children brought, and it was wonderful to see friendships forming across the generations.

Sometimes the best afternoons are the unplanned ones 💛

Although things didn’t quite go to plan today, our residents still enjoyed a fun and relaxed time together with ball games, colouring, and sensory activities. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and moments of connection throughout the afternoon.

It just goes to show that it’s not about the plan — it’s about the joy in the moment ✨

⭐👩‍🍳 Advinia Star Chef of the Year – Taste Testers in Action! 👨‍🍳⭐

Two of our lovely residents had the absolute pleasure of attending the Advinia Star Chef of the Year competition — and what a treat it was!

They were given the very important job of tasting 12 incredible dishes prepared by our talented chefs, helping to support the Residents’ Choice alongside the judging panel. From presentation to flavour, every bite was carefully considered (and thoroughly enjoyed! 😋).

A wonderful experience, full of delicious food, great company, and lots of smiles. We are so proud to have been part of such a fantastic event! 🌟

Well done to all the chefs who took part — you made it a very hard decision!

🐉✨ Chinese New Year Celebrations ✨🐉

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year together! The afternoon was filled with colour, laughter, and lots of festive cheer as everyone enjoyed themed activities, decorations, and a taste of traditional treats. 🧧

It was lovely to see so many smiles while we welcomed the new year and learned a little about the traditions behind this special celebration. A joyful day shared with great company! ❤️

We had a fantastic time today with the lovely Trisha singing for us this afternoon 🎶
