I recently visited CAMPS – Cumnock Arts Makes People Smile for their Emergency First Aid at Work training, organised by Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT).

It was a great day of learning, lots of fun and I received some amazing feedback.

Hearing the beautiful singing rehearsals coming from the next room while we trained was just brilliant - such talented people! 🎶

We kicked off the new year with our first Sports First Aid course this week and these sessions are quickly becoming some of our most popular 🙌

With SYFA accreditation, we welcome parents, coaches, volunteers and referees through our doors all looking to gain the skills and confidence to support safer sport.

Our courses are super flexible and can be delivered as a full-day session or split over two evenings (3 hours each), making it easier to fit around busy schedules.

We had a fantastic day of training recently with some of the team at MetalTech Roofing & Cladding Ltd

Over the past couple of months, MetalTech Roofing & Cladding Ltd has been sending members of their workforce through either our one day - Emergency First Aid at Work or three day - First Aid at Work courses.

All of the candidates have been incredible dedicated, hardworking and fully engaged throughout the training.

They are now confidently prepared to handle any first aid emergencies that might arise in the workplace.

It’s always inspiring to see teams commit to workplace safety and develop skills that truly make a difference.

A big well done to everyone involved! 🙌

🌍🧡World Mental Health Day 🧡🌍

Today is World Mental Health Day and at Salvus Training Scotland, we want to take a moment to recognise just how important mental health is not only in the workplace, but at home and within our communities.

We see first hand the impact that poor mental health can have on individuals, families, and teams. It’s something that touches all of us in one way or another.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that in 2026, Salvus Training Scotland will be delivering accredited Mental Health Awareness and First Aid for Mental in the workplace courses.

Our goal is to help people recognise the signs, start supportive conversations, and know how to respond when someone is struggling.

Just as we believe everyone should know basic first aid to save a life, we believe everyone should have the skills to support mental wellbeing too.

Let’s keep talking, keep learning, and keep supporting one another not just today, but every day.
