Less daylight can affect our energy, motivation, and overall mental wellbeing — so if you’re feeling a little low or more tired than usual, you’re not alone.

Here are a few small ways to support your mental health this season:
🕯️ Get outside during daylight when you can
💬 Stay connected with friends and family
✨ Keep a simple routine (even a very gentle one)
🌿 Make time for things that calm your mind
💙 Be kind to yourself — winter can be tough

🌟 Equine Price Update for 2026 🌟

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients — both human and equine — for your continued support! 💛

It’s been amazing to work with so many of your horses this year, and I’m so grateful for your trust and loyalty.

From 5th January 2026, there will be a small price adjustment to reflect rising costs and to ensure I can continue to provide the best possible care and service.

🐴 New Prices (from 5th Jan 2026):
• £40 for one horse
• £35 per horse where there are 2 or more at the same yard
• Travel charged at 50p per mile for journeys over 25 miles (one way)

Thank you all again for your ongoing support — it really does mean the world. I’m looking forward to another fantastic year helping your horses feel and perform their best! 🐎💆‍♀️✨

I know it’s early, but I want to make sure everyone has plenty of time to get their appointments booked in before the festive season.

📅 I will be closing after appointments on Saturday 20th December at 2.00pm.
📅 I’ll reopen the week beginning 5th January.

This applies to both human and equine clients.

During this time, you’re welcome to get in touch via text, email, or voicemail — but please note I won’t be responding to any enquiries until I reopen on 5th January.

💆‍♀️ Feeling tight across your neck and shoulders? Whether it’s from desk work, riding, or just everyday stress, a few gentle stretches can make all the difference.

✨ Try these simple moves:
1️⃣ Neck tilts – slowly bring your ear towards your shoulder, hold, then switch sides (you can use your hand to add additional gentle pressure, shown below 👇🏼)
2️⃣ Shoulder rolls – circle your shoulders forwards and backwards to release tension.
3️⃣ Chin to chest – gently lower your chin and feel the stretch down the back of your neck.
4️⃣ Upper back opener – interlace your fingers, push your hands forwards, and round your shoulders.

Take it slow, breathe deeply, and never force the movement. Just a few minutes can help you feel lighter, looser, and more relaxed. 🌿

💪 Back at It – Slowly but Surely! 💪

First full week back into the swing of things after some time off… 😅

Taught my usual fitness Pilates classes this week, and last night I jumped back into teaching a full hour of spin 🚴‍♀️

Let’s just say — it was tough, but also kind of brilliant.
The sweat was real, the legs were on fire, but that post-class feeling? Unmatched. 🔥

It reminded me that:
👉 Coming back after time off is never easy
👉 Your body might protest at first – that’s normal
👉 Progress is in showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable

No need to “go hard or go home” when you’re just getting back — just go. Move. Breathe. Start where you are.

🧠 Your body remembers. You just have to give it the chance to catch up.
