Book a GaitSmart Appointment here; https://calendar.app.google/4R9e7zaBUfzQ16mM7 Our GaitSmart system is totally unique, sensor-based gait analysis system and we would love to offer you the opportunity of a demonstration. A dynamic analysis of the movement of a patient can be completed in a few minutes, including production of a detailed report. We could put together wordy descriptions of our system and its operation, but we find a word from our customers goes a lot further.

Mr Glyn Evans, FRCS, The London Knee Clinic
“I would certainly recommend this system to any orthopaedic surgeon involved in the treatment of knee patients as a very simple and objective assessment of dynamic gait motion.”

Mr. John Timperley, MB ChB FRCS (Ed) DPhil (Oxon) - President British Hip Society
“GaitSmart is ideal for use in a clinical setting, it doesn’t interfere with their walking and an analysis of gait is available in minutes

• Test can be carried out by clinical assistants
• Provides objective and quantifiable data on the dynamics of patients’ gait
• Identifies the severity of a patient’s walking ability
• Enables me to monitor how well they recover after surgical intervention”

Feedback from the Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam
We have been reviewing unpublished data from the GaitSmart inertial sensor based system, which has been validated against optoelectric systems. (see Cooper et al J Biomech). The real strength for clinical applications lies in the fact that GaitSmart have built a database of joint kinematics of healthy populations in different age groups. As a clinician you immediately know whether the joint kinematics are abnormal or not. Since applying the sensors and gathering and analysing data literally only takes 5 min per patient (patients can even walk up and down in the corridor) this ill solve the time consuming 3D motion analyses in the Motor Control lab. We have found that systems like Vicon or Codamotion, are simply too involved for the doctors, making them impractical.

💬 Real Review from a Recent GaitSmart Appointment

“I was referred to GaitSmart by my Post Op Home Physio physiotherapist after struggling with back, hip and knee pain following an accident.

[The Service] was respectful, professional, and really took the time to listen. The test itself was simple — just walking back and forth with small sensors on my waist and legs. The technology analysed how I move and showed how well my body is recovering.

The results were great — Everything was shared directly with my physio so we could plan the next steps together.

It’s an impressive tool for understanding how your body really moves — and it gives peace of mind that you’re on the right track.”

⭐️ “I’d recommend GaitSmart to anyone who wants a clearer picture of their mobility and pain management.”
