Today we held our first ‘Food Forum’ of 2026.
This is a chance for the service users to find out about any changes within the catering team, upcoming events and theme nights and review any feedback. It also acts as a listening session for the service users to express their opinions, feedback and ideas. Their ideas will shape menus, specials and the overall mealtime experience.
Today we had some excellent feedback on meal quality, meal service experience and the changes over the last few months. They have come up with some great ideas going forward, including tasting sessions and cooking with the kitchen sessions.

This afternoon was all about celebrating Lorraine 🎉

She marked her birthday in the best way possible—with her choice of delicious ice cream sundaes 🍨, shared with Glenda and Caroline. Lots of smiles, sweet treats, and lovely company made it extra special.

Lorraine has had a truly wonderful day, spending it exactly how she wanted 💖

We celebrated Red Nose Day a little early today, but what a fantastic day it was! ❤️🎉

There was so much fun and laughter, from our human fruit machine (a huge hit!) to wacky “whack-a-staff,” which everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🤣

We also got stuck into games like Suit Dash and Minute to Win It, keeping the energy high all afternoon.

Of course, no celebration is complete without treats – we had plenty of delicious cakes, scones, and shortbread to enjoy 🍰

Everyone looked amazing, and the atmosphere was just brilliant. We’re still counting up the money raised, but a huge thank you to everyone who took part and made the day so much fun ❤️
