After what felt like the longest pregnancy baby Hunter made an appearance on Saturday 13th December, 8 days early, via emergency c section which turned into major surgery and the scariest thing I’ve ever been through in my life 😓
What an incredible NHS team we have and I thank them with all my heart for delivering Hunter safely and acting quickly with me when things went wrong resulting in a ‘code blue’ 3.5 hour surgery
I have never been so frightened in my life and to be completely honest 4 days later still in shock digesting everything that happened. Gavin has been incredible and we’re looking forward to going home hopefully soon 🫶🏽
What’s more is one of the amazing NHS staff who was in theatre with me and assisted me alot the next day said to me I know this is random but do you own a head spa?’ 💆🏻♀️
Turns out she already knew me through moonstone and was one of the very first people to have a cuddle with Hunter and be part of this whirlwind experience!
What a small world!! 🤯
I will be taking this time to make the most of every second with my family and will keep you posted on my return in spring 2026 ✨
Lots of love,
Ellis x
