Some of the One Body Seated Exercise Class attendees today with their drawstring bags!

Something I wanted to ensure was that everyone was able to take the equipment home, so they can safely practice the movements in the comfort of their own sofa/ chair.

A great idea to keep up momentum and reiterate the results we are trying to achieve. The more commitment put in = the greater the outcome will be.

Balance 🤝

Now if you know me well… I am a massive foodie.

So this is a little series I like to call, what I’ve ate since being away vs how I am moving my body afterwards.

Holidays/ travelling often mean the fruit salad gets pushed aside 🍕🥐 and honestly… that’s okay.

No guilt needed for enjoying yourself.

Just remember… move your body, get outside, soak up nature, and fuel yourself with a mix of foods your body actually needs (yes that means some carbs, fats, protein — and foods you enjoy).

Keep moving, get your steps in, and remember: health isn’t about perfection, it’s about balance. 💪😁

As a practitioner, I often have to deal with the effects of stress and worry on clients.

However, travelling at the moment comes with its own stresses & worries whilst being away from home.

I thought I’d do a post on the things that have helped me to calm whilst being away in new places & half way around the world.

1. Get organised before you go, don’t leave things to the last minute.
2. After dinner get in the habit of doing a late afternoon/ evening walk, so good for your mental health and digestion.
3. GET OUT IN NATURE. It’s free!
4. Talk to family and friends! This is so important.
5. Journal your thoughts and experiences, I am new to this but enjoying this a lot.
6. Plan your time well, make sure you know what you want to do and achieve. Another common thing I introduce to clients, goal setting.
7. Switch off your mind and unwind. No phones, no distractions.
8. Reach new goals, I climbed a very tall mountain (hill) in the hot Australian sun and it was hard… but so worth it.
9. Sleep when your body needs sleep. This may be at funny times, but this has helped me massively.
10. Fuel your body. But still enjoy those cheat days. Everything is in moderation.

Wow. Just like that 1 whole year has gone by.

If you'd have asked me this time last Christmas that I would go on to start my own business, I would have laughed.

Taking this step has been rewarding, challenging, eye opening and amazing.

I was in a job, burnt out and considering giving up this career... fast forward 365 days later and I am travelling the world thanks to your support, growing the business, selling products, running a highly succesful class and over 100+ client base, I am beyond proud.

Thank you to each and every one of you. This year we grow, expand, hit new milestones, achieive new challenges and most importantly help more and more of you and grow this community.

I will be posting a blog post on my website all about my first year of self employment. The highs, lows and challenges. Take a read when you get the chance.

When it comes to food and diet, I always ensure I eat well but also don’t restrict myself. That combined with moving my body and eating a range of food groups.

Food is one of the best parts of traveling, and I've been lucky enough to try so many delicious dishes along the way! 🤤
