This is why we insist on treating patients face-to-face. Unfortunately there are many unscrupulous online pharmacies with inadequate prescribing processes and safety checks that can miss other important things in the rush to take advantage of the immense demand for these powerful medications.

Christmas is just around the corner! 🎅🎄

We’ll be closed over the holidays so make sure you’re ordering your prescriptions with time to spare.

As a reminder, our Christmas opening hours are:
Wed 24th December - open as usual
Christmas Day 25th December - closed
Boxing Day 26th December - closed
Sat 27th December - closed

And our New Year opening hours are:
Wed 31st December - open as usual
New Year's Day 1st Jan - closed
Fri 2nd Jan - open as usual
Sat 3rd Jan - open as usual

And we are closed on Sundays as always.

You may have seen recent news reports about price hikes by the manufacturer of the leading weight loss medication Mounjaro. 😡

We would like to reassure all our patients that we will freeze prices for as long as we can (while stocks last) and that we have tried to minimise the impact on future prices. Our FREE local NHS prescription delivery service is open to all patients and we can deliver to your home.

Our service is aimed at anyone who struggles to make it to our pharmacy to collect their prescriptions for any reason e.g. work pattern, transport issues, house-bound, convenience etc.

Ear infections are very common, particularly in children.

Common symptoms of an ear infection are:
- Pain inside the ear
- Being sick
- A high temperature
- A lack of energy
- Difficulty hearing
- Discharge running out of the ear
- A feeling of pressure or fullness inside the ear
- Itching and irritation in and around the ear
- Scaly skin in and around the ear

Hay fever season is still in full swing and you may have noticed your symptoms getting worse due to a high pollen count.

Symptoms of hay fever include:

- Sneezing and coughing
- A runny or blocked nose
- Itchy, red, or watery eyes
- Itchy throat, mouth, nose, and ears
- Loss of smell
- Pain around your temples and forehead
- Headache
- Earache
- Feeling tired

If you have asthma, you might also be short of breath, have a wheeze or cough and have a tight feeling in your chest during this time.
