Michael needs a little support at home these days, and relies on family to buy groceries, pay bills and run errands and so on.

He misses being able to go out and about and do what he used to do. The days are lonely.

Today, I cleaned his flat for him and then took him for a run in the car, to the barbers for a haircut, and then for a cuppa and bacon roll at a cafe.

A change of scenery for him, a little exercise, and some welcomed company. A day well spent!

Hi everyone

I’ve worked as a Carer, Activities Co-ordinator, Housekeeper and my most recent role, as a Befriending Service Worker.

All jobs that I have loved, and which has prompted my decision to take the plunge into self employment.
