We caught up today with Maggie who has been an active volunteer in our branch for over 20 years.
"Samaritans is a wonderful organisation and provides such a valuable service to those who need us. I have been amazed by the difference Samaritans has made over the last number of decades. The need has never been greater and we need more volunteers to make sure we can be there to support the many callers who use our service each day."

London Marathon
David McKeown from our branch pictured at the finish with Julie Bentley CEO of Samaritans and his son Peter. Peter ran for Samaritans and raised an amazing sum - almost £4k for an amazing charity. Also pictured, David with Felicity Varah Harding, the daughter of Chad Varah who started Samaritans in 1953.

Cross and Passion College sixth form had their Samaritans School presentation delivered recently by David and Elaine from Coleraine and District Samaritans. Una from the college teaching staff says: "It was great and I know everyone will have a 'take home' from it as it ticked so many boxes! I will definitely be in touch again."
