Hi guys, just popping on to say a huge thanks to everyone who has shared their condolences following the loss of my wee mummy.

I’m taking some time before returning to work to process everything & unfortunately try to somehow get used to not having my mummy with me, I’m not yet sure when I’ll be back, but I’ll be in touch with everyone once I have a plan. Until then, no appointments will be going ahead 🖤

Your kind words, thoughtful cards, and every offer of help or a shoulder to lean on mean more than I can say. I know I haven’t been able to get through all your lovely messages but I appreciate every single one of you. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

MERRON (nee Carmichael) – 5th August 2025. Aline (peacefully at her home, Dunsuivnish Drive, Portstewart). Much loved mum of Amy and Niamh, mother-in-law of Mark, adored granny of Aiden and Lucia-Jane; and loving sister of Brenda. House Strictly Private. Friends and Family are welcome to call at Wades Funeral Home, to pay their respects on Thursday evening during 7 – 9 p.m. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart, on Saturday 9th August 2025 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
