A message of thanks from the family of Edward (Eddie) Kennedy who passed away on 9th January 2026

The family would sincerely like to thank all those who sent sympathy cards and messages, brought gifts to the house, sent donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in any way.

Special thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Cancer Centre Belfast City Hospital for the care given to Eddie during his illness and to the paramedics for their assistance.

Our sincere thanks to Rev Canon Donard Collins for conducting the funeral services at home, the church and at the graveside and to the staff of Ivan Murdock and sons for the professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

A message of thanks from the family of Teresa Holmes who passed away on 3rd January 2026

We would like to thank all those who sent sympathy cards and messages, donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in anyway. They have been a great comfort to us.

We would like to thank the Doctors and staff of Altnagelvin hospital for the outstanding care given to Mum during her time in the hospital. The level of care, kindness and compassion shown was much appreciated.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Kevin McGuckien for his support leading up the funeral and the beautiful service.

Also sincere thanks to the staff of Ivan Murdock and sons, especially Amanda for the respectful and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were handled.

Lee – 3rd February 2026 (peacefully) at Madelayne Court Nursing Home, Portstewart, (late of 5 Glenn Park, Portstewart), Maurice, dearly beloved son of the late Cecil and Elaine Lee and much-loved brother of Brian, David and Ann and a dear brother-in-law and uncle.

Funeral service in his late home on Friday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Portstewart New Cemetery.

A message of thanks from the family of Collins Black who sadly passed away on 12th December 2025.

Collins’s daughter Catherine and sons Steven and Liam would especially like to thank all those who contacted them, sent sympathy cards, flowers and messages, donations in lieu of flowers, attended the wake or funeral or helped in anyway. Special thanks to their dad’s close friends and family and also their own friends and family, and church and work colleagues. Your kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity have been a great comfort to us.
Our sincere thanks to the Rev Hugh Cubitt of St. James Presbyterian Church, for his support and comfort to us on the day of Dads death and his gentle and personal conducting of the funeral service. Thanks also to Collins’s grandson Noah for playing the music at the funeral. We would like to thank the staff at Causeway Hospital ED who cared for our dad in his last days. Thank you for their compassion also to us as a family. We will always be truly grateful.
Our thanks to the staff at the country medical centre who have given excellent care and attention to dad in recent years.
