Today on Mothering Sunday, many of us celebrate with flowers, cards, and warm embraces. But for some of us, today carries a quieter kind of love — the love we still hold for our mums who are no longer here.
If your mum is in heaven, in memory, or simply beyond the reach of another hug, know that she is still part of every lesson you carry, every kindness you show, and every strength you’ve learned to find.
A mother’s love doesn’t end with goodbye. It lives in the stories we tell, the habits we keep, the recipes we cook, and the values she planted in our hearts.
Today I remember my mum with gratitude and love. I miss her voice, her advice, and the comfort only she could give — but I carry her with me in everything I do.
If your mum is no longer here, take a moment today to remember her, smile at a memory, and feel proud of the person she helped shape.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Happy Mothering Sunday to all the mums watching over us.
