Full moon blessings 🙏🌕❄️✨️💫🤍

The February Full Moon, often referred to as the "Snow Moon," is associated with themes of purification, renewal, and emotional clarity. Here are some correspondences, herbs, crystals, and a simple ritual you can incorporate into your full moon practice:

:

Element: Water
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius or Pisces (depending on the year)
Themes: Love, intuition, emotional healing, manifestation, creativity.

Herbs:

1. Rosemary: Purification and protection.
2. Lavender: Calmness, relaxation, and spiritual insight.
3. Sage: Cleansing and wisdom.
4. Cinnamon: Abundance and passion.

Crystals:

1. Amethyst: Enhances intuition and spiritual growth.
2. Moonstone: Balancing emotional energy and fostering inner strength.
3. Clear Quartz: Amplifies intentions and clarity.
4. Rose Quartz: Promotes love, compassion, and emotional healing.
# Ritual:

# # # # Preparation:
1. Gather your materials: Choose your herbs and crystals, and find a quiet space where you can connect with the moon. You may also want a candle (white, silver, or purple).

2. Set your intention: Reflect on what you want to release or manifest during this full moon. Write it down on a piece of paper.

:
1. Cleanse your space: Light your sage or incense to cleanse the space. Walk around your area, allowing the smoke to purify your surroundings.

2. Create your altar: Arrange your herbs and crystals on a flat surface to create an altar. Place the candle in the center.

3. Light the candle: As you light the candle, focus on your intention. Visualize it as you say it aloud.

4. Herbal infusion: If you feel drawn to it, brew a tea with your chosen herbs (like rosemary or lavender). As you sip, focus on the energy of the moon and your intention.

5. Meditation: Spend some time in quiet meditation under the moonlight. Close your eyes and visualize any negativity or fears being washed away, allowing room for your intentions to manifest.

6. Closing the ritual: Once you feel complete, thank the moon for its guidance and energy. You may wish to blow out the candle and leave your crystals on the altar overnight to absorb the moon's energy.

7. Journaling: Write down any insights or feelings that surfaced during the ritual.

:
- Keep your crystals nearby or in your workspace as a reminder of your intentions.
- Continue to work with your chosen herbs for the month, either in teas, bath rituals, or incense.

Embrace the energies of the February full moon, allowing it to guide you toward your intentions and emotional healing. 🌕✨

As you get older
You fall more in love with life.
Hard lessons have been learnt
Decisions are now made with
a deeper wisdom and acceptance.

You've reached a clearer understanding
regarding life and death
and each moment holds more
value than any material possession
ever could.

You no longer waste time on
petty arguments
as you have come to realise that
people can be fickle and time
can mend most misunderstandings.

Your heart feels bigger, holding much
room for the people that really matter.
You've bid a sweet farewell to others
that have taken a different journey,
And your heart is at peace .

My younger self couldn't foresee how
time would reward me with this
warm contentment I now feel.
And I've come to appreciate
That each stage of the journey brings
more than we could ever hope to receive.

And for that I am truly grateful...

As we approach the Winter solstice
the days are at their shortest and the
light is sparse.
Allow this period of quietude
to enter..
Make gentle adjustments
to your daily life.
Hibernating instincts are strong
right now, and we need to
act upon them.
Winter is a time for recuperating.
We need to follow the example
of nature,
she is quietly resting and
restoring her energies for the spring.
As the light diminishes,
we are reminded
to slow down and do less.
Too often we ignore
the invitation to stillness.
Winter is a time for waiting ..
The light will return,
as will the flora and the fauna.
In the meantime,
take a deep breath
And relax into the season
of deep rest ...

Come home to the forest
Where time goes slow,
and breath is mellow.
Where thoughts find rest,
and calm comes to nest.
Come home to the woods
to be friends with trees,
and listen to the breeze.
to wander through trails,
and mend your sails.
Come home to nature
When your heart is hurting,
or your soul needs healing.
When something feels wrong,
or you just need place to belong.
The forest awaits
Come home. Be healed.

An easy way to look after wildlife in winter is actually to do less with your garden than you normally might.

Avoid pruning berry or fruit-bearing bushes or trees in your garden or on your balcony, as these provide indispensable food for birds over the next few months.

Allow leaves, twigs and sticks to pile up under hedges or in borders. This can provide a cosy home for hedgehogs and dormice to hibernate. The leaves will also shelter insects – which will become food for those insects as the leaves decompose. These insects will in turn be food for birds who will feast by picking at the leaves. On a balcony, do leave a corner to gather any leaves or dust, to provide insects with a shelter.

Hedgehogs need somewhere to hibernate through the winter, but also a place that they can lie out at during the day. So have a few places around your garden that are a bit wild, maybe a log pile, potentially even a hedgehog home, all of which are going to be prime real estate for one of these little guys.
