Denis Hartley & Son Funeral Service Ltd are currently looking for a part-time permanent Funeral Service Operative. The hours are varied, and there is the opportunity to fit the role in around your other commitments.
Calm and professional, our Funeral Operative plays a vital role in our service and is often one of the first members of the team to meet our families. A good Funeral Service Operative will be able to provide reassurance to families that we will take good care of their loved ones whilst we prepare them for their final journey.
In addition to bringing people's loved ones into our care, Funeral Service Operatives play an active role behind the scenes, collecting and fitting coffins and dressing the deceased on occasion, cleaning the cars and participating in funeral services, helping to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Our Funeral Service Operative would work on an ad-hoc basis and the position would suit the more mature applicant.
Duties will include driving company vehicles, so you would need a full driving licence.
You will also be required to be available out of hours, on-call, should the need arise.
