What a truly special day at Formby Manor Care Home yesterday as we celebrated our wonderful resident, Aunt Marj, turning an incredible 112! 🎉🎈

We had the pleasure of hosting her birthday tea party, surrounded by her family, friends, and our team. The room was filled with love, singing, and even bagpipes - exactly what Aunt Marj loves and deserves.

After six birthdays with us at Formby Manor, we are still always amazed by the number of cards sent from far and wide, and this year has been no different… over 200! Thank you to everyone who took the time to make her day even more memorable, your kindness means so much.

Aunt Marj, you are an inspiration to us all. Here’s to living life to the fullest!✨

On Thursday at Belvedere Manor, we enjoyed a wonderful day of entertainment and creativity 🎶🎨

A big thank you to entertainer Louis Deval, who brought fantastic music, energy, and plenty of smiles to everyone. It was lovely to see residents singing along and enjoying the performance.

We also had a relaxing water painting session, where everyone got the chance to get creative and express themselves through art. 🎨🖌

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Friendship Café at Christchurch 💛

We spent a lovely time singing songs, listening to poetry, and decorating Easter boxes. It was wonderful to socialise with the amazing volunteers while enjoying tea and delicious cakes together.

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere — we’re already looking forward to the next visit! 🌸

We spent some time reminiscing with Margaret, who has cherished her beloved Teddy 🧸 for an incredible 77 years—ever since she was born! She still calls him Teddy, and it’s amazing to see the memories and joy this little companion brings.

🎳 What a fantastic few days at Belvedere Manor! On Friday, we had so much fun enjoying a trip to ten pin bowling – lots of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

Over the weekend, the fun continued with relaxing doll therapy, pampering manicures, and a lovely church service led by Rev Matt Butler. 💅⛪

It’s been a wonderful mix of activity, relaxation, and meaningful moments for everyone 💛

🕗 Hours: 1945 - 0800 or 0745 - 2000 (3 shifts one week, 4 the following week including alternate weekend working)

🎶Sing along at Belvedere Manor 🎶

Our residents at Belvedere Manor enjoyed a wonderful sing along with the amazing Elderberries, who regularly kindly volunteer their time to bring music to our home. 🎶💗

The room was filled with music, laughter and plenty of familiar tunes that had everyone singing and tapping their feet too. 🎶🎤

We are so grateful to the Elderberries for their continued support and for creating such joyful, uplifting moments for us. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon 🌼
