EDIT: there is no illness in the surgery. As the post below states, staff are off work poorly with illness, leaving us short staffed. The post is to help prevent this happening again 🩵

🦠 🦠 It is officially germ season! 🦠 🦠

As you may already know, we are struggling with staff shortages due to illness at the moment.
There seems to be a nasty respiratory virus doing the rounds that presents just like RSV / COVID.

Please can we ask that if you have any symptoms you do not attend the practice. If you do have to attend and have symptoms, please can we ask that you wear a mask.
Staff will be doing the same to protect each other as well as patients.

‼️‼️ URGENT NOTICE ‼️‼️

Unfortunately we are having to close the dispensary early today due to staff sickness.

It will close at 4.30pm, and reopen tomorrow morning as normal at 8.30am.

We have tried very hard not to do this but have no other option.

The Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency confirm that taking paracetamol during pregnancy remains safe and there is no evidence it causes autism in children.
