It’s a relaxed, informal drop-in where you can enjoy a cuppa, have a chat, ask questions, or share anything that matters to you — because what matters to you, matters to us.

We have our very own on-site salon, where residents can enjoy having their hair styled, nails treated, or foot care appointments with visiting professional hairdressers, nail technicians, and foot care specialists.

It’s all about feeling pampered, confident, and enjoying a little well-deserved self-care — without ever having to leave home.

Spring is well and truly knocking on the door.
We’re so excited to see brighter days ahead and to enjoy more time outdoors at Colwall Care Home. Whether it’s a gentle stroll, fresh air in the garden, or simply taking in the views, getting outside brings so many smiles and moments of joy for our residents.

Here’s to sunshine, fresh air, and the little moments that make a big difference.

We recently enjoyed a wonderfully creative morning here at Roden Hall.

Thanks to our lovely Karen, residents were introduced to a new craft and set to work creating their own beautiful personalised notebooks. Using a selection of wallpapers and patterned papers, the ladies learned how to carefully fold the pages so each book opened just as it should.

Everyone chose gorgeous colours and designs, and there were plenty of smiles as the finished notebooks came together. A relaxing morning spent with friends, coffee and crafts – and some truly lovely results to take pride in.

This short video shows just how easy and accessible it is to reach us on foot — making visits simple for family and friends travelling by train, whether they’re coming from Malvern, Ledbury, Worcester or beyond.

Easy to find, easy to visit, and perfectly positioned at the foot of the Malvern Hills — accessibility and connection are at the heart of what we do.

We had some very special visitors at the home this week!

Helen and Bob from Therapy Dogs Nationwide came to spend time with our residents, bringing plenty of smiles, comfort, and wagging tails along the way. It was wonderful to see the joy and calm their visit brought to everyone.

We are really looking forward to welcoming them back and seeing them become regular visitors around the home. Thank you, Helen and Bob, for such a lovely visit!

We had a flipping fantastic time celebrating Pancake Day with our wonderful residents!

The home was filled with the irresistible smell of freshly cooked pancakes, as everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite toppings — from classic lemon and sugar to indulgent treats like chocolate and syrup. There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter, and even a few friendly debates about the best way to enjoy a pancake!

It’s moments like these that mean so much — bringing everyone together to enjoy simple pleasures and create happy memories to cherish.

Today, we were delighted to welcome representatives from the Royal British Legion into Colwall Care Home.

We had the pleasure of meeting Steve, Vice Chair of the branch, Michael (Cally), Chairman of the branch, and Mark, Chairman of the club. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce ourselves, share more about our home, and begin building a positive relationship together.

Community connection is incredibly important to us, and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with the Royal British Legion and welcoming them back into the home again soon.

Today at Colwall Care Home, nestled near the Malvern Hills, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Tony’s 99th birthday — a truly remarkable milestone.

The day was filled with smiles, heartfelt birthday wishes, and special moments shared together by residents and team members, making it a wonderful celebration in our Colwall community.
