At Colwall, we take the time to really know our residents and incorporate their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and interests into daily life whenever possible.

Resident Tony and his wife Nancy, who is from Massachusetts in the USA, are avid Super Bowl fans and enjoyed watching the final together last night. Tony’s room was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the game, complete with root beer and chicken wings for an authentic American experience.

A little pampering goes a long way.

One of our lovely ladies staying with us on respite enjoyed a relaxing pamper session, complete with having her nails painted. These moments offer more than just a treat — they provide comforting human connection, encourage self-expression, and help boost confidence and wellbeing. And of course, choosing the colour is always the hardest (but most fun!) part.

🌟 Continuing Our Charity Partnership for 2026 🌟

We’re delighted to confirm that Colwall Community Church will continue as Colwall Care Home’s Charity Partner for 2026.

Although Colwall Care Home didn’t open until the end of 2025, it was important to us to continue this partnership into 2026 so we can fully support the wonderful work the church does and further strengthen our relationship with the local community.

We’re looking forward to a year of collaboration, connection and meaningful fundraising together.

A Lovely Morning at Colwall Care Home

What a fantastic morning at our monthly coffee morning today! It was wonderful to see such a great turnout, with the room filled with friendly faces, lively conversation and plenty of laughter — just the way we like it.

If you missed it, don’t worry! Our coffee mornings take place on the last Friday of every month, from 10am–12pm, and everyone is welcome. Pop in for a cuppa, a chat and great company — we’d love to see you there.

❄️ Winter Wonderland at Colwall Care Home ❄️

There’s nothing quite as beautiful as snowfall in Colwall, and we’ve all been enjoying the stunning winter scenery around us. While there’s not quite enough snow for snowmen just yet, we’re keeping our fingers crossed!

It’s the perfect excuse to admire the view from the warmth of the home, hot chocolate in hand, and enjoy the cosy comforts of winter together.

Welcoming 2026 at Colwall Care Home

We welcomed the New Year in true Colwall Care Home style with a lovely celebration for our residents. Everyone enjoyed a delicious roast dinner, followed by a glass of fizz to toast the year ahead.

It was a relaxed and joyful afternoon, filled with good food, warm smiles and plenty of conversation as we reflected on the year gone by and looked ahead to what 2026 has in store.

Here’s to a happy, healthy and joyful New Year for all our residents, families and staff.
