Another fantastic Passport to Construction week completed with Conwy Employment Hub 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

We had a brilliant group of delegates this week – and they all passed with flying colours 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓👏

There was plenty of tea and coffee ☕, lots of learning, a good few laughs, and of course… plenty of washing up at the end of each day 😁

• Coordinating CITB, First Aid and H&S courses
• Managing bookings, certificates, records & facilities
• Supporting consultancy projects and preparing documents
• Liaising with trainers, clients and delegates
• Helping with admin, marketing and day-to-day operations
• Ensuring training rooms and equipment are professionally prepared

• Highly organised and confident communicating
• Admin experience preferred
• Keen to learn and develop your skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

👏 A big thank you where it’s due! 👏

Last week we arrived at our training centre in Mochdre, Colwyn Bay only to find the main road completely flooded — not the best start to the day!

However, fair play to Conwy County Borough Council and AE & AT LEWIS Ltd

Within half an hour the road was cleared and access restored. A great example of quick response and effective teamwork to keep the local community and businesses moving.

We’re fortunate to have such responsive services supporting our area.

Another busy week last week gave us the chance to enjoy some absolutely stunning views — we’re incredibly lucky to live and work here in North Wales.

We continued our long-standing partnership with Academi Adra Tai Cyf delivering their Passport to Work scheme and supporting delegates as they build skills, confidence and new opportunities.

We also had the opportunity to discuss the benefits of the programme with Codi Group , highlighting how this pathway helps develop future talent for the sector.

Alongside this, we delivered accredited training through Nuco Training, CITB, and UK Asbestos Training Association Ltd - ensuring high-quality, compliant development for all delegates.

We were also pleased to continue our collaboration with Anglesey Safety Training, strengthening our joint commitment to providing accessible, industry-leading training across the region.

A big thank you to everyone involved — we’re proud to play our part in supporting local people, employers and communities across North Wales.

That’s a wrap for 2025 🎄

Our final course of the year was delivered yesterday, and a big thank you to PF&S Ltd. for keeping us busy right up to the end with a UK Asbestos Training Association Ltd Asbestos Awareness course.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to all our customers, both old and new, and to all our trainers who have supported us throughout the year.

A huge well done to all delegates who attended and completed their training — and a special congratulations to those who have already gone on to pass their CSCS tests and secure their Green Labourer Cards 🎉

About us

Premier Construction Training Ltd were founded to provide training services throughout North & Mid Wales, the North West and further afield, we operate from Centres on Anglesey and in The Conwy Valley and are able to deliver courses ranging from the 5 day CITB SMSTS course to half day courses such as Face-Fit, Abrasive Wheels, Asbestos Awareness and other half day course.

We are the only training company in Gwynedd and Conwy County that are registered as a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and are able to deliver the CITBs range of Site Safety Plus (SSP) Training.

Our trainers are experienced individuals with a vast knowledge of the construction industry with our finding directors having around 50 years experience shared between them
