We’re holding flu vaccination clinics on:
🗓️ Saturday 11th October, between 9am and 5pm.
🗓️ Saturday 18th October, between 9am and 5pm.

✅ All eligible registered patients should have received an invitation by now.

Protect yourself and those around you this winter — book your flu vaccination and help keep our community safe and well.
Who is eligible?
✅ Adults aged 65 and over
✅ Adults under 65 with: • Chronic respiratory conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD)
• Heart, kidney, or liver disease
• Neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s, MS)
• Diabetes or other endocrine disorders
• Weakened immune system (e.g. chemotherapy, steroid treatment)
• Spleen issues (e.g. sickle cell, post-splenectomy)
• Learning disabilities
• Severe obesity (BMI ≥ 40)
• Pregnancy
✅ Children born between September 2021 and August 2023

How to book:

📢 Nasal Flu Vaccinations for 2–3 Year Olds.

If you have a child aged 2–3 years who is registered at West End Medical Centre, you should now have received an invite from the surgery via text message or letter.
The text message includes a self-booking link, making it quick and easy to schedule your child’s nasal flu vaccination.
Appointments are available from 26th September 2025 onwards. You can also book by:
✅ Calling the surgery
✅ Visiting us in person

**UPDATE**
Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) at the West End Medical Centre.
We are delighted to announce that since the launch of the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) at the West End Medical Centre on the 30th April 2025, the service has experienced remarkable growth. Starting with just 10 patients, we now proudly serve 6,782 patients who have registered with their preferred pharmacy to receive their prescriptions electronically.
This milestone highlights the convenience and efficiency the EPS brings to our patients and community. If you would like more information about the EPS service, please speak to one of our receptionists or your community pharmacy, who will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
We would like to thank our patients, staff and community pharmacies for their invaluable support in ensuring the success of this service.
