School aged children (from Reception to Year 11) who have missed or not taken up the opportunity to get vaccinated at school this winter will be able to walk in to one of our community vaccination clinics from Monday December 15. Bookable appointments are also available.

We urge parents to protect their children by making sure they take up the vaccine. This could prevent a nasty illness, complications like pneumonia, or a stay in hospital – and will help to reduce the spread of the virus in North Wales. It will also help to protect older and more vulnerable people in our families and wider communities.

Children aged 2 and 3 (on August 31 2025) can still get a painless nasal spray flu vaccine at their GP surgery.

The electronic prescription service is well underway and we are loving it 😊

This has been such a positive change for us in many ways 🙌

We have noticed since the electronic prescription service has gone live, many patients have been coming in for their prescriptions before they are ready 🕰️

Once we receive repeat prescriptions from the GP it takes us 2-3 days to get them ready. Please bear this in mind when ordering your prescriptions. GP surgery’s have their own timescale for processing prescriptions, we would advise adding an additional 3 days onto their timescale for prescriptions to be ready🧑‍⚕️

Doing this gives both the surgery and the pharmacy time to get your prescription ready 💊

If you can, please wait for us to text you before coming to collect. This will reduce the risk of back logs. Following these steps will ensure you do not run out of medication and will help with the smooth running of our services.

A stroke can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. It's vital to know how to spot the signs of a stroke.

The easiest way to remember these symptoms is the word FAST:

😕 Face – has their face fallen on one side? Can they smile?

🤷 Arms – can they raise both their arms and keep them there?

🗣️ Speech – is their speech slurred?

📲 Time – time to call 999
