Dance Body & Soul dates for the rest of the year. ....They're jumping around a bit due to other bookings (usually the third Saturday of the month) but that'll help keep you on your toes !!😜

An embodied movement practice which is both freeing for the Body and restorative for the Soul. We meet in circle for the last half hour for some ‘chai and connection’, an important part of nourishing our souls! 💚

It was a real pleasure to engage in professional dialogue with other therapists at the recent BACP Children young People & Families Conference focusing on the challenges and opportunities of working with neurodiversity.
My presentation explored the when and how to move Beyond the Therapeutic Encounter.
There were two cracking key note speeches. Very timely for International Neurodiversity Week 2024 - celebrating different minds.

Movement as Medicine: Sunday 26th November 10-1pm Whitford Village Hall booking essential
I'm eally excited to be preparing the first of four workshops exploring Movement as Medicine which this month explores all things earthy!
Where we appreciate the bones, spine and skeleton; thinking about structure & posture, nurture & rest. Tuning into the gentle rhythms of breath and heartbeat.
Connecting to Muladhara, the root chakra; the element of earth, minerals and compounds of wood, stones and humus.
Honouring the abundance of autumn. The time between autumnal equinox and winter solstice, quietening the mind and taking stock of all we have gathered over the spring and summer.

'Life Journey' Circle

An ongoing therapeutic exploration of our journey of self
in relation to the world around us....

First Monday of the month 7-9pm
Spiral Sanctuary, Axmouth EX12 4AU

The first free ‘taster’ session, Mon 3rd July, is for you to get a sense
of the shape of sessions and to ask any questions you might have.

I am an experienced, qualified and accredited, holistic therapist with a passion for group work and the joyful way in which we can be supported in our personal explorations simply by journeying
alongside others.

Each session will have a distinct focus based on the ordinary
everyday questions/issues/transitions we all experience, so can be
attended as a standalone but with the emphasis on building on
previous sessions and making connections with others on our
journey. You will feel held in a professional, confidential, empathic space.
Experiential, using a blend of humanistic/relational approaches:

time to speak, be silent, feel, explore, laugh and to grow

It is about you, for you, with no expectation to share beyond what
you wish.
