As you can imagine, it’s a very busy time of year for us here at Horner Pharmacy. We appreciate your patience as we safely prepare your medication over this period 💊

Reminder to order any prescriptions you may need over the holidays in advance. This allows us good time to get them ready and order in anything we may need to so that you don’t run short over Christmas🎄

We recommend picking up any last minute prescriptions or presents promptly on Christmas Eve to avoid disappointment and ensure you’re home in time for Santa 🎅🏼

We’ll do our best to ensure you have everything you need before the pharmacy closes for Christmas! Thank you and Merry Christmas from us here at Horners ⭐️

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This October, the staff at Horner Pharmacy are taking part in the Walking 100 Miles in October challenge to raise money for Breast Cancer. 💊🎀
A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 10 minutes. And around 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.

By donating you are helping to support crucial services and research which help to support those affected and provide them with the care they require and deserve to receive during this time.
£30 could help someone get vital answers by calling Breast Cancer Now free and confidential helpline.

£100 could bring an expert speaker to a Living with Secondary Breast Cancer group.

From this Saturday (21st June 2025) our opening hours on a Saturday will have changed. We will now be open from 9am to 1pm only.

Our opening hours for weekdays remain unchanged (8.30am to 6pm).

🎄***Christmas Opening Hours***🎄

We are open as normal on Saturday 23rd December (9am - 5.30pm) but will be closed on Monday (25th December) and Tuesday (26th December) next week. Please ensure any required medication is collected in a timely manner.

Emergency cover in the area will be provided on Christmas Day (Monday 25th) by McKay's at 58 Regent St, Newtownards, between 11am and 12pm; and on Boxing Day (Tuesday 26th) by Gordon's at 2A Regent St, Newtownards, between 11am and 12pm.
