If you’ve been around in the last few weeks and spotted a little ball of energy zooming back and forth like her shoes are on fire, chances are… you’ve already met Amber! 🔥😄

With over 12 years in care, she’s here to support families every step of the way—from that very first call to settling into life at Priesty Fields ✨

She also loves bringing the home to life with community events. So keep your eye's out for some upcoming fun open days (hint: summer fêtes and Christmas markets on our horizons! 🎉)

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her out on a hike, at the gym, singing away, or catching up with friends 🥾🎶

✨ We’re so proud to share some incredible news! ✨

Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Chris Lovell and the amazing team at No-Tier Snooker into our home — and what a memorable experience it was! 🎱💙

Their passion for making snooker accessible and inclusive for people living with dementia truly shone through. The session sparked joy, connection, and so many special moments for our residents — it’s something we’re still talking about! 😊

Now, we’re thrilled to see that No-Tier Snooker are getting the recognition they so richly deserve 👏🏆 (and share it out so others can see it too!)

Their work is a beautiful reminder of how sport, when adapted with care and compassion, can bring people together and make a real difference in people’s lives.

A huge congratulations to them for this well-deserved honour! 🙌

We had the MOST wacky, wonderful time thanks to the amazing Mark, who came alllll the way from Wales to bring the fun to Priesty Fields! 🎉✨

From bubbles floating through the air 🫧 to music that had everyone smiling and joining in 🎶💃 – it was a session full of laughter, joy, and a little bit of silliness (the best kind, of course! 🤪).

A HUGE thank you to Mark for bringing such brilliant energy and creating memories that truly brighten our home 💛 We can’t wait to have you back again!

We had a paws-itively wonderful visit this week from the lovely Sasha the therapy dog 🐶💛

There’s something truly special about the comfort animals bring — from wagging tails to gentle cuddles, Sasha had everyone smiling, chatting, and reminiscing. Pet therapy can make such a difference, helping to reduce anxiety, lift mood, and create those beautiful moments of connection that mean so much 🥰

It’s safe to say Sasha was the star of the show (and made lots of new best friends along the way!) 🐾✨

A huge thank you to Dog Therapy for bringing Sasha in to spend time with us — we absolutely loved every second and can’t wait for the next visit! 💕

🚲 Rickshaws, Smiles & Sunshine – Oh My! ☀️

What a wonderful day here at Priesty Fields! 💛
We were so lucky to welcome the fantastic team from our local rickshaw bike rides, giving our residents the chance to get out, feel the fresh air, and enjoy a little adventure around the community.

Just look at those smiles! 😊 There’s something so special about the simple joy of being outdoors, the wind in your hair, and sharing laughter along the way. Moments like these are what it’s all about.
A huge thank you to the amazing team who make this possible – your kindness, energy, and time truly mean the world to us and our residents. 🌟

🌟 Employee of the Month – Charlie! 🌟
This month, we’re celebrating our very own ray of sunshine… Charlie! ☀️

From the moment he walks through the door, Charlie brings positivity, energy, and a “can-do” attitude that lifts everyone around him. Nothing is ever too big of an ask, and he’s always there with a smile, ready to help wherever he’s needed.

And of course… we can’t not mention his incredible talent in the kitchen. Our very own chef extraordinaire! 👨‍🍳 The meals he creates are nothing short of amazing — although we have noticed a slight side effect… let’s just say a few of us might be blaming Charlie for some mysteriously tighter trousers lately! 😄

Jokes aside, Charlie, you truly are such a valued member of the team. Your hard work, kindness, and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our home. Thank you for everything you do — this recognition is so well deserved! 💛👏

🎱✨ We’ve been cue-riously busy at Priesty Fields this week… and what a break it’s been!

We’ve loved stepping back in time and learning all about the incredible career of Steve Davis—with stories, memories, and even the chance to see (and hold!) some amazing trophies 🏆

Safe to say, we’ve got a few snooker experts in the making… we might need to start our own tournament soon! 😄

A huge thank you to Chris Lovell and No Tier Snooker for bringing this brilliant experience into our home—it’s sparked so many smiles, conversations, and a bit of friendly competition too 💬💙
