Someone asked me for a few ideas to mix up turkey burgers a bit, so thought I’d share on here too in case anyone else is in a turkey-and-rice rut 😅1. Burger in a Bun (Done Right)Low-cal bun, reduced-fat cheese, bit of light mayo or burger sauce, gherkins, lettuce, tomato — the full works. Air-fried sweet potato wedges on the side = banging. 2. Greek-Style Turkey Burger WrapsSwap the bun for a wholemeal wrap or pitta, chuck in cucumber, tomato, red onion, lighter tzatziki or natural yoghurt, and a bit of feta. Fresh and summery. 3. Turkey Burger “Full English” VibesStick it on a plate with grilled tomato, egg (fried or poached), mushrooms, and some baked beans. Like a healthier brekkie twist. 4. Turkey Burger Salad BowlSlice it over a big salad — mixed leaves, red onion, cherry toms, maybe some new potatoes or a bit of quinoa. Drizzle of balsamic or chilli sauce over the top. 5. Asian Lettuce WrapsBit of a wild card but tasty — crumble the burger into a pan with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, chilli flakes, and serve in gem lettuce leaves with grated carrot and spring onions.
