Some of our group headed out for a morning walk — it was a little more chilly than usual, but the fresh air did everyone good!

We then came together to celebrate St David’s Day with a variety of themed activities. Everyone got stuck into word searches, colouring in the Welsh flag and beautiful daffodils. There was lots of concentration and creativity around the tables.

To make the day even more special, we all enjoyed some delicious Welsh cakes — a first-time treat for some of us! They went down very well.
One of our lovely Welsh ladies shared how lucky she felt to be with us.
After lunch, the fun continued with a game of bowls, while others chose to relax with their diamond art coasters, work on puzzles, or enjoy a good singalong.

We started the morning with a refreshing walk outdoors. The fresh air and gentle exercise helped everyone feel energised and ready for the day ahead.

When we returned, we began our Saint David's Day activities. We enjoyed themed discussions and creative tasks, celebrating Welsh culture and traditions together.

After lunch, we kept the fun going with a game of golf, encouraging movement, coordination, and plenty of smiles. We then finished the day with a lively session of balloon tennis, which brought lots of laughter and friendly competition.

Lovely warm weather today, so we headed out for a walk to our local antiques centre. Everyone enjoyed getting some fresh air and having a look around.
When we returned, some of our customers chose to relax in the lounge area, enjoying a bit of chill time with music playing in the background. Others kept busy with diamond art and puzzles, which were thoroughly enjoyed.

After lunch, we continued our afternoon in the arts and crafts area. There was more time spent on puzzles and diamond art, along with some lovely drawings. It was a calm, creative, and enjoyable day for everyone.

We made the most of the milder weather with a lovely morning walk. It was wonderful to feel it a little warmer, and everyone enjoyed spotting the first signs of spring — beautiful daffodils and delicate snowdrops brightening our path.

When we returned, we got busy sowing seeds in preparation for our allotment. We planted beetroot, carrots, radishes, mint, and chives, carefully filling trays with compost and chatting about what we’re looking forward to growing.

After lunch, the afternoon was filled with creativity and relaxation. Some enjoyed drawing and colouring, others worked on diamond art and knitting. We finished the day on a high note, singing along to some classic songs, which brought plenty of smiles.

The sun made a welcome appearance for a few minutes this morning, so we wrapped up and enjoyed a gentle walk outside. It was wonderful to get some fresh air and make the most of the bright weather while it lasted.

When we returned, we got creative by painting wooden birds and carefully sticking colourful feathers on for their tails. Everyone enjoyed adding their own personal touch.
There was also some knitting, a relaxing read through the newspapers, and some beautiful drawings of a cat created during our art time.

Lunch was a favourite as always — Fish and Chip Friday! After enjoying our meal together, we spent the afternoon unwinding with some calming colouring activities, gentle chair exercises to keep us moving, and finished the day with a fantastic singalong. There were lots of smiles and plenty of laughter.

In the morning, everyone got crafty building and painting wooden animals, wooden planes and beautiful wooden tulips. There was lots of colour, imagination and concentration as each person added their own unique touch.
We also enjoyed some crochet, sharing plenty of smiles along the way.

In the afternoon, it was time to relax and unwind with a cheerful singalong. Music filled the room as we sang familiar favourites together, bringing back happy memories. To finish the day, we had lots of fun playing our parachute and ball game, encouraging teamwork, laughter and gentle movement.

Today was cold outside but warm inside full of love and attention. We do miss our walks but the views we can see from inside do help.
We started with the daily papers and to read some old gold coins had been found in Suffolk started the conversations. We enjoyed fresh fruit platter a good start to our 5 a day, different activities today from diamond art to Easter wood crafts to puzzle’s, our fish tank scene was popular and fascinating to watch. The rubix cube went down a treat but still not complete…. To be continued…..

After lunch we had to get some exercise in so a favourite was chosen chair yoga 🧘.
We had a good old sing along to some classics“some where over the rainbow”🌈

We started the morning the best way – with coffee and a good catch-up. There’s nothing better than sitting together, chatting about our week and putting the world to rights while enjoying a warm drink. We spent some time reading the local newspaper, sharing stories and memories that the headlines sparked. Some of our ladies enjoyed knitting.

As it’s half term, we were also joined by two very special little helpers today.

It was time to build wooden planes and helicopters, which brought out everyone’s inner engineer. We also decorated beautiful wooden tulips, adding bright colours and personal touches, and worked on some diamond art pieces.

After lunch came a highlight of the year – Pancake Day! Definitely my favourite day! We enjoyed traditional lemon and sugar pancakes, along with chocolate and blueberries for those with a sweeter tooth. There were smiles all round (and maybe a little extra chocolate sneaked on top!).

In the afternoon we slowed things down with some gentle hand therapy to keep those fingers flexible and comfortable. We finished the day with a bit of pampering – nails painted in lovely colours and shoes shined to perfection. Everyone left feeling cared for, accomplished and just that little bit special.

The sun made an appearance today, so we took the opportunity to head out for a lovely morning walk and enjoy the fresh air together.

Back at the barn, we had great fun decorating biscuits – and of course, we couldn’t resist eating them straight away!

We also continued making our beautiful 3D heart pictures, which are coming along wonderfully.
After lunch, we enjoyed some gentle chair exercises, spent time doing word searches, and most importantly, had lots of lovely chats, simply enjoying each other’s company.

It’s been a wonderful day. Have a lovely weekend, and we look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday!

Today we had a wonderfully creative and joyful day. In the morning, we made beautiful 3D hearts using colourful magazine pages, and the results were truly incredible. The gentlemen also spent time creating Valentine’s cards and sweet treats for their wives, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful activity.

After enjoying lunch together, some of our group headed out for a refreshing walk, making the most of the fresh air, while others stayed in for a lively singalong to Tom Jones, filling the room with music and smiles. We ended the day all together, laughing and having fun playing the balloon game — the perfect way to finish a lovely day.

Our morning began with a relaxed catch-up over the newspapers, alongside some knitting. We also enjoyed a delicious morning fruit platter, which went down a treat and gave everyone a lovely fresh start to the day 🍎🍊🍇

In our arts and crafts area, we continued working on our Valentine’s creations. There was lots of creativity as everyone added their personal touches. We were also very proud to complete our 500-piece puzzle that we’ve been working on — a fantastic team effort and a great achievement for all involved 🧩👏

After lunch, we planned to head out for a walk, but the weather had other ideas! Instead, we stayed cosy indoors and enjoyed sticker art, colouring, and more puzzles — plenty of smiles and concentration all around.
