Feeling stressed? It’s normal for your breathing to become fast and shallow. However, taking slow deep breaths using the muscle under your ribs (the diaphragm) can help you relax. Find a comfortable position and follow these steps:
1) Let your breath flow deep into your belly as comfortably as possible.
2) Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
3) Focus fully on your in and out breaths.
4) Continue for at least 5 minutes.
