Healthcare Assistant / Care Workers

Full-time / Part time hours available.
Shifts are typically from 0630-1330 , 1500- 21:30

Training provided if no experience.

Looking after people in their own homes has duties that will include:

- To provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, physical and mental disabilities.
- Provide companionship, administer medication, meal preparation, shopping and household duties.
- To create and maintain good professional relationships with clients, their family and friends
- You must have good listening skills, show compassion, respect and treat service users with dignity.

Just a simple act of kindness could make the difference in someone’s day. Below are a few ideas of Act’s of kindness that can be shown to brighten someone’s day.

💡 Open a door for someone
💡Text a relative or a friend a positive note
💡Check in on an elderly neighbour
💡Do something anonymous I.e. buy someone in the line a coffee/tea
💡Smile at someone and say hello on a walk
💡Helping someone across the road
💡Donate to a food bank
💡Pledge some time to help a charity

Alice is one of our Senior Care team members. Alice enjoys meeting new faces and building up relationships with our service users and also enjoys training our new team members passing on valuable knowledge.
