Behind the scenes of my client work at the moment 💛
A theme I’m working with a lot right now is self-limiting beliefs and the way we speak to ourselves, often on autopilot.
From a neuroscience perspective, the brain doesn’t clearly distinguish between imagination and reality. Repeated thoughts are processed as experiences. Which means the language we use internally really matters.
This is why, in solution focused hypnotherapy, we spend time helping clients notice and gently reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Not by forcing positivity, but by supporting the brain to build calmer, more realistic pathways.
I’m currently working with adults and teenagers around:
• anxiety and OCD
• insomnia
• addictions and habits
• social anxiety
• emetophobia (fear of vomiting)
• body image and self-perception
Different challenges, but often the same underlying mechanism.
Solution focused hypnotherapy combines talking therapy, neuroscience and deep relaxation to help the nervous system settle and the brain learn something new. Over time, this supports changes in thoughts, emotions and behaviour.
