A positive outcome at our local parkrun recently. Highlighting the power and effect of Defibrillators are.

People are being urged to add the location of defibrillators to an online map after a man collapsed during a Parkrun event.

I've been a huge supporter of these over the years whenever I teach first aid in a school I also stress how the investment is worth it as they SAVE LIVES. With alot of schools already getting there own defibrillators it's fantastic to see that every state school is now going to receive these life saving devices.

The government will provide funds so all schools can have at least one kit after parents' campaign.

Ive had a wonderful day today delivering the Emergency First Aid at Work course to these 4 fabulous ladies (who work in a primary school)

A 3 year qualification and certificate for them all - and importantly equipped with the confidence to deliver the first aid skills learned/refreshed today.

We had the coolest room in the school through the hottest day on record which was handy! They took everything on board and were a pleasure to train :) Thank you!

To go through the feedback forms once home and see such lovely comments had me smiling - a great end to my day.

Looking forward to running my next course already! Sheryl x

We had a great time teaching these awesome lot emergency first aid level 3. Loads of laughter and learning from a great bunch. Thanks from my myself and Sheryl for making it such a fun and enjoyable course to teach.
