Day 21 of my 21 day reiki self practice journey.

On the eve of the Chinese New Year- coming into the year of the Fire Horse and shedding the skin of the Snake 🐍. A fresh and new start for us all should we choose.
The horse symbolizes strength, speed, courage, loyalty, freedom and talent.

These past 21 days have shown me alot and renewed my beliefs in the energy that is all around us and within us.

I would encourage anyone attuned to revisit their 21 days and see how it may assist you. If you followed along with me, how was your journey? ✨️

Thank you to everyone who has followed, liked and commented or messaged me during this time. I am truly grateful to each one of you xx

Day 20 of my 21 day reiki self practice journey ✨️

This little self practice has been lovely to revisit why I started my journey with Reiki. , and is something that I intend to do again. Maybe not the whole 21 days but definitely times to reflect, reconnect and show gratitude 🙏

21 days saying the 5 principles of practice, principles, relooking into the 7 primary chakra and practicing daily self reiki.

There are 3-4 levels and attunements for Reiki.

The 1st being Reiki I- this is for self-care, a journey to explore Reiki and how it can help in your own personal pathway to healing. During this journey practice on family and friends is encouraged, but ethically no money should be exchanged.

Reiki II- enables the individual to become a Reiki Practitioner and to exchange treatments for money. Reiki II is a progression with the addition of sacred symbols that allow the energy to be worked with in different ways, including distant healing ✨️

Reiki III - Master/Teacher- This final step in the journey allows the practitioner to attune others in Reiki, sharing and passing on the knowledge and understanding with principles, practice and support. To me to add another individual on to my Reiki Lineage is like adding them to my family.
I try to stay connected to my students/friends and try to support and encourage them on their personal journey.
For me personally I have to feel a connection with someone, to pass on what I have learnt, and will not say yes to everyone who asks.

Have you had experiences of your own attunements, lineage or Reiki family?

Day 18 and 19 of my 21 day Reiki self practice journey ✨️

Time passed so fast yesterday I didn't get the chance to post, but gratitude was a big part of Friday 13th.

I spent the evening providing space and time for three beautiful individuals to share energy, calmness, relaxation and the best sacred circle tea that can be found 😉
I am so grateful to be able to offer this practice and join you on your journey. My heart chakra was definitely open and glowing from the plant medicine and self-care shown yesterday 💚

Today has continued the theme of gratitude and love as Valentines day is here.

Spending time with family, my loved ones is always a treat, but also acknowledging a little more time for me too. I spend an hour after resetting the retreat cabin, at the bottom of the garden in that beautifully sunshine, music on, chopping kindling 🪓 🪵 in preparation for next autumn 🍂 and winter ❄️.
The sunshine has been so welcomed today after all the wet grey days we have been through. A gentle reminder that spring is around the corner with new life already popping through in the garden.

How have you treated yourself today?

Try to look for the positive ✨️
Don't count the days but definitely make the days count ###

Day 16 of my 21 day Reikivself practice journey.

Today has been a slow one, recovering from a hectic but enjoyable day yesterday and having kids off school.

It's a nice reminder that not everyday needs to be a full timetable of busyness.

I created RDR to allow for time with family, a time for healing and for life.

I have formed links with clients who have become friends, creating a community of like-minded beautiful people to share time with energies that help each other to grow, not bringing people down or competing against each other, but sharing similar interests and activities.

Looking ahead to some warmer, dryer weather to make the most of the outdoors and nature.

What are you looking ahead to?

Day 15 of my 21 day reiki self practice journey ✨️

Still in the reflection mode:

I have come to visit one of my favourite places from a life that feels lifetimes ago.
I moved down to London at the age of 17 to work as a nanny.

The job didn't work out for a few reasons, but Camden will always hold memories of my weekends off, browsing the eclectic stalls.

Even today, being solo here for a few hours is pure joy and he's to remember my roots and how life has been a great journey so far. What is around the next corner? who knows but I'm ready to embrace it and grateful for the opportunities 🙏

Camden has changed so much over the years and i do try visiting often with the family. Tobi loves his bang bang chicken. And Sidney seems to enjoy the eclectic environment. But with the changes Camden still has the same feel and vibrancy.

Where holds a special place in you heart/memories?

Day 14 of my 21 day Reiki self practice journey. Today has been a reflection on why Rainbow Dreams Reiki is here:

The Classroom to the Treatment Room: My Journey
The Turning Point: 2014

Back in 2014, my world shifted. Receiving a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) diagnosis while raising two children under five was overwhelming. At the time, I was a dedicated primary teacher, but the reality was that I was in 24/7 neuropathic pain. There were mornings when my legs simply wouldn’t follow my lead, yet I was still trying to show up for my students and my family.

The Hidden Cost of Stress
We often hear that stress is "just part of the job," especially in education. But for those with MS, stress is more than a nuisance; it’s a major trigger. I loved teaching, but the political pressures and the relentless "target culture" of the education system were physically damaging my body.
It was a parent from my class (Janine), who first suggested Reiki. At first, I was just looking for pain relief, but what I found was a lifeline. I train3d in Reiki to bring it into my life to support me.

Choosing "Rainbow Dreams"
The decision to hang up my teaching cap wasn't easy, but it was necessary. I had to choose: continue meeting external targets or start meeting my own needs so I could truly be there for my children.
I put my faith in the universe and founded Rainbow Dreams Reiki. By removing a primary source of my stress, I didn't just find a new career; I found a way to coexist with my diagnosis.

Why Reiki? The Power of Holistic Healing
I love that Reiki doesn't just look at a symptom—it treats the whole person.
• Physical: Managing the "buzzing" of neuropathic pain.
• Emotional: Clearing the "mental noise" and anxiety that comes with chronic illness.
• Social: Allowing us the energy to actually enjoy our loved ones, rather than just surviving the day.

Finding Your Balance
Stress is a strange beast. In small doses, it drives us; in excess, it manifests as physical illness and emotional burnout. While I know not everyone can simply quit their job, we can all start acknowledging the impact stress has on our health.

Let's Connect
I’m Emma, and I’m here to help you navigate that "mental noise" and find a pocket of peace in a hectic world.

I’d love to hear from you: When life gets loud, what is the one thing that helps you stay in control of your triggers? Is it a walk, a meditation, or perhaps you’ve been curious about trying Reiki yourself?

Day 12 and 13 of my personal 21day journey of Reiki self practice

The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) is the seventh primary chakra located at the top of the head, representing the center of spirituality, enlightenment, and divine connection.

Spiritual enlightenment doesn't necessarily mean the connection with people passed, but can mean the belief in ones ability to follow your intuition and gut. Guiding you to a better pathway for the highest of good for yourself and those around you.

This can be found through self practice of Reiki, meditation and other holistic practices.

A place can be seen as a centre for religious beliefs, outdoors in nature or a special sanctuary just for you, where you can reconnect and strengthen your own openness to the world around us.

That is the 7 primary chackra from the retreat of your root to the violet/White of your crown. An upside down rainbow 🌈 of colours to guide us on our journeys.

Enjoy your Sunday, I am off for some opening of the throat chackra later with mantra meditation.

Still spaces available on both sessions xx
🌳🔥🎶 **Wellbeing in the Woods** 🎶🔥🌳

I am so excited to be coming together with Tasha of **Wave and Willow** to offer not one, but **two nourishing woodland wellbeing gatherings** this year. These sessions are an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature and yourself, and be gently held in a space of relaxation, reflection, and community.

We will begin by gathering in a circle for a **grounding and intention-setting ceremony** using the beautiful *Sacred Circle Tea*. This lovingly crafted blend of natural plant medicine, sourced from the land around us, is heart-opening and deeply grounding. It offers a gentle reminder of the beauty and wisdom of Mother Earth, helping you to tune inwards and set intentions that feel aligned and true for you.

🌱 **March Ceremony**
Held as the earth begins to reawaken from her winter slumber, this ceremony invites gratitude for the lessons, challenges, and gifts of the past. It is a time to gently open the heart, honour what has been, and step forward with intention as we welcome growth, renewal, and the energy of what is yet to come.

🍂 **September Ceremony**
In the richness of the autumnal season, nature shows us the beauty of letting go. As leaves fall from the trees, we are supported to release what no longer serves us. This gathering offers space to reflect, surrender, and create clarity, allowing new opportunities and paths to reveal themselves.

Following the tea ceremony, you will be guided into a **Reiki share**, a gentle and supportive group experience where you can both give and receive the soothing flow of universal energy. Through a guided body scan meditation, we will transition seamlessly into a deeply immersive **sound bath**, where the frequencies and vibrations of sound build upon the tea and Reiki. Together, they create a nurturing container, allowing you to receive exactly what you need in that moment.

After this deeply relaxing journey, we will reunite around the **campfire** to cook and share a meal together. This is a warm and welcoming opportunity to connect, reflect, and share your experience, if you feel called, in the company of like-minded souls.

✨ **Please bring:**
• Yoga mat, pillow, and blanket
• Warm clothing (this is an outdoor event)
• Water bottle

📅 **Dates:**
• Sunday 1st March | 2–5pm
• Thursday 24th September | 6:30–9pm

📍 **Location:**
Raywell Park Scout Activity Centre, HU16 5YL

💫 **Investment:** £40 per person

Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate. We would love to welcome you into the woods with us. 🌿✨

Day 11 of my 21 day Reiki self practice

Today brings me to the Third Eye Chakra (Ajna), the sixth primary chakra located in the center of the forehead.

This is for me were my imagination can be curated, working on the visions of what I want to create for mine and my families future and growth.

Following my intuition as a guide for sometimes clarity on thoughts or ideas 💡

Meditation has helped me to turn off some of the external mind chatter allowing me to turn my focus within.

A Gentle Tip: If your mind feels "busy" today, gently rub your hands tofer and then resting your palms over your eyes (cup them gently with the warmth) instead of just the forehead. This physical darkness helps the inner light of the Third Eye become more visible.
