Been a while since I put a pencil to paper well a good 22yrs lol šŸ˜‚. So I attempted Heidiā€™s ponies Tommy and Rocky and Jakkis Soprano. Think I may invest on some decent paper and better charcoal pencils rather than an every day pencil šŸ™ˆ and take it up again. Quite therapeutic ā˜ŗļø

Just a little update.

My arm is slowly starting to heal, I will be re-opening my books again in January.

Itā€™s been a long 12 weeks! I have no strength in my broken arm so lots of physio needed. Ive almost finished the commission that I had started before my accident. Thankfully Kristy has been very patient waiting for me to finish Freckles.

So itā€™s onwards and upwards from here šŸ˜Š.

Unfortunately on Tues 16th of August I had a nasty fall from my horse resulting in a broken arm. Amongst other Injuries....

Unfortunately on Tues 16th of August I had a nasty fall from my horse resulting in a broken arm. Amongst other Injuries.

So unfortunately my books are closed and current orders will be completed once my cast is removed.

Really sorry to all my customers, please bear with me. It will roughly be 8-12 weeks before my books can reopen.

Due to so many messages I thought I would list my prices for my felted ponies.

The ponies/horses are Ā£75 plus postage. Each horse takes roughly 4 weeks to create.

Due to some orders being placed but no payment received, I now ask for the horses to be paid at time of order. These are bespoke to your own horse or pony.

They are approx 7/8ā€ high and wide.

I can use your own horses mane or tail in the felted horse to make it that little bit more special.

The hair needs to be as thick as a little finger and roughly 9ā€ long.

Donā€™t worry about dirty tails, they are washed before creating the felted horse.

I require a photo of each side of the horse and a head shot.

This is how these horses start, just wire and wool. Many hours go into making one of these felted horses.

Below are the items I use which is the wool, wire and the single needle I use to make these lovely keepsakes.

All of the wool used here at Heartfelt Keepsakes is British sourced.

The feet are made by hand, which are made from clay and then once dry hand painted.

They really are an individual bespoke keepsake.

Another little felted pony in the making, will be a lovely unexpected surprise once finished šŸ˜Š.

I would love to introduce everyone to the gorgeous Goldie.

Goldie died a very long time ago, his owners didnā€™t have any of his hair but that wasnā€™t a problem. He is 100% made out of wool.

So he is the last to add to be added to her collection, so here he is the gorgeous Goldie.

Sorry for being quiet on here lately. Itā€™s a very busy time of the year, and not everyone wants to show pictures of there precious felted ponies, due to them being gifted at Christmas.

Weā€™ve also had to deal with storm Arwen which has caused havoc.

Onto my last felted pony to be completed before Xmas then thatā€™s a wrap for 2021.

I just want to thank all my customers new and old. I wouldnā€™t be doing this without your support.

Many thanks to Benridge Woolworks for supplying me the best of British wool, these wonderful felted ponies are made with 100% British wool.

Something a little different, I was asked to make a lovely dream catcher for a friend as a gift for her sister.

So as always I was happy to oblige.

Using Coppers tail I created the tree of life, then added her favourite colour which was white and mounted it to coppers shoe.

Here is the end result which I can show as itā€™s now been gifted.

Well I would love to introduce the beautiful Ted to everyone.

Unfortunately Ted passed over the rainbow bridge quite recently. So a group of friends stuck together and had a little replica of Ted made for his owner to treasure.

Ted has been owned and lived in the same home since he was 6 months, so is a massive miss to his owner. So hopefully little Ted can bring his owner some comfort x

Unfortunately Pricie has crossed over rainbow bridge, Becky her owner has found it really hard since losing her. So her good friends got together, and without Becky knowing, decided to have Pricie made for Becky to treasure and I was happy to help.
