We are delighted to share with you David's story, as he celebrates 60 days clean and sober 😊.

David is such a caring and loving man, he worked hard to get into the project and has worked even harder since. He speaks here with such vulnerability and raw emotion, two qualities he jas needed to show to reach 60 days 💯.

We are all proud of you David, if even one person reaches out for help after listening to you, then what you have done is more then worth it.

This is Craig, and he is celebrating 30 days clean and sober 😊.

Craig has made an amazing start to his recovery journey, this man has a heart of gold, wears his heart on his sleeve and is determined to fight for a better future.

All we focus on in the beginning is quite simply, do not use, no matter the circumstances or how we feel, if we can get through these early days and not use, it gives us the opportunity to implement change 💯.

We want to say a huge congratulations to Rory, who is celebrating 6 months clean and sober 😊.

It is amazing how fast time goes, 6 months has literally flew by and the Rory we see today is world's apart from the man who first walked through our doors.

There have been some difficult times, Rory knows he can be his own worst enemy at times, certain behaviours are engrained in us and do not dissappear when we put the substances down.

However, he has been prepared to learn from these times, he has tried to do things differently and has seen a huge amount of progress as a result 💯.

He has a big heart, thats something we could all see, and we have seen changed behaviour from him.

Rory is present now for his little girl, he is showing that turning our lives around although not easy, is very possible and we are all so proud of him ❤️.

Congratulations my friend, what an achievement and the work continues and if we want to keep this new way of life then it comes at a price..

Vigilance and hard work 💪.

Our next Friends and Family Support Group is this coming Saturday 21st March and the theme for the session is providing information and understanding about 'Relapse and Recovery'.

We had a huge turnout to our last session and it was a real pleasure to watch the community growing, to see the shared empathy and compassion within the room and to hear the changes that attending this group has made to their understanding of addiction and how it has helped to improve their relationships with those loved ones struggling with addiction.

If you are looking for support or are being affected by a loved one's struggle with addiction, please join us on Saturday - you are not alone and you are very welcome!

Congratulations Adam, on reaching 10 months clean and sober 😊.

There is not a lot more we can say about Adam that we havent already said, month by month he continues to do whats required and the effort and dedication he applies to change is there for all to see 💯.

He gives 110% in all that he does, he has become an amazing role model for our newer residents and one thing that impresses us so much about him is that he leads by example.

You very rarely hear Adam tell you what he is going to do, its more a case of him telling you what he has done and this quality has driven him to be where he is today.

Huge congratulations Adam 🎊.

Ten months is an incredible and as much as we keep everthing in the day, you can start to believe that a whole year clean and sober is firmly in your sights ❤️.

This is Louie...

And today he celebrates reaching 60 days clean and sober 😊 🎊.

Louie is such a nice lad, he has settled in extremely well and someone we are very hopeful will achieve what he wants to achieve in life 💯.

He has kept his head down, engaged in all that we do and is already training towards the Coventry half marathon, its amazing what can be done when we put the substances down.

We couldn't be any prouder of our resident Gez, who today celebrates 30 days clean and sober 😊.

Gez is someone I have known for a very long time, from all the way back in primary school and someone who has had various stuggles for a number of years.

He has been engaging with us for a while now, for a long time he has known he wanted a different life for himself and his family, but always struggled to understand how to go about it.

After knowing him for so long, I can safely say these past 30 days are the best I have ever seen him, everything about him is showing us that he is finally in a place where where he wants to commit to doing everything he can to change ❤️.

There is still a lot more work to be done, but what a start this lad has made, we couldn't be any happier for him.

Huge congratulations to Matthew, as he celebrates 6 months clean and sober 🎊.

We write a lot of these clean time posts, they all mean so much, especially as we witness first hand the change in our residents and to be writing a post about Matthew means so much 😊.

Matthew has experienced many battles in his recovery journey, it has not been easy for him. Having to contend with mental health issues and also trying to get his head around his addiction issues have taken its toll at times but this lad has pushed through it all.

Many of the battles people face tend not to be ones we can see, but they are very real and what goes on under the surface has a direct impact on what people see in terms of our behaviours.

For him to reach 6 months clean is truly amazing, he is now in a postion where he can start to address mental health concerns and is showing those helping in that he is serious about making changes 💯.

He is also a fantastic goalkeeper, and has been a welcome addition to our footbal team and to see him today with a huge smile is what its all about.

Huge congratulations Matthew, we are all so proud of you and at only 21 years old, you can now start to see what a positive future you can have ❤️.

We have just got back from our latest football match, where we played Ruby United in Daventry.

We lost the game 3-0, tiredness and fatigue playing a part as the game went on, but we worked hard and done ourselves proud, considering we lost 8-2 against them a few months ago, so we have to look at the positives 😅.

We love seeing all the lads out there, some were in active addiction not that long ago, so even getting on the pitch is an achievement.

Special mentions to two of our players, louie and Matt who were our stand out performers.

And a big thank you to Ruby United, worthy winners and thank you for your hospitality.

All I know is that tomorrow morning I will not be able to put my socks on 😅.

Huge congratulations to our resident Clinton, who is celebrating 60 days clean and sober 😊.

Clinton has been with us previously and it was amazing to get him back. He has come back with more determination and a focused mind as he does not want to repeat past mistakes.

He is a great lad, someone who has experienced his fair share of struggles, but he is now starting to understand the effort required to change his life around 💯.

We are so proud of you Clinton, 60 days is a huge achievement and we look forward to continuing our journey together ❤️.

We finish the week with Archie Hollingsworth who shares his story 😊.

Over the week we have heard from JK, Rory, Happy, Ryan and now Archie as they explain in their own words how life was for them before and after they found recovery.

We are committed to providing balance and transparency in terms of what we post and in the hope that hearing from our current residents may help someone reach out for help 🙏🏽.

Thank you Archie for speaking so openly and getting vulnerable, there are other Archies out there and hearing your story may save their life ❤️.
