Following on from Mark celebrating 8 months, we are also celebrating Archie, as he reaches 9 months clean and sober 😊.

The progress Archie makes month by month is all down to the action he puts in, Archie has truly embraced a life in recovery 💯.

Archie is such a kind, caring and polite young man, he has never once caused us any major issues and is a calming influence within our community.

He has achieved so much in these 9 months and really wants to spread awareness around addiction and mental health to show others there is a way out.

Congratulations Archie, your a lovely lad and it has been a pleasure to watch you grow over the past 9 months ❤️.

We are incredibly proud of our resident Mark, who is celebrating 8 months clean and sober 😊.

Mark is a great lad, very funny and a larger then life character. He has faced numerous struggles in his past and he would be the first to admit that he can be his own worst enemy at times.

I have personally seen Mark at his lowest and to see him now, having not used for 8 months is a miracle, and shows that this lad deep down wants to change and have a better future for him and his family ❤️.

There is still work to do, and we hope Mark can see that although life isnt perfect when we stop using, it is certainly better then what it once was 💯

Congratulations Mark, very proud off you 😊.

Its time for the Re-Match you have all been waiting for - Team Dynamo vs Barker XV!

The residents have been in training for the last two months preparing for the big game and now is the time to show them your support!

Tickets are just £5 each and you are certain to have a good evening! Last year's game was played with passion and pride and each resident put their everything into it and this year we are hoping for more of the same!

Supporting someone with Addiction can be isolating, overwhelming and confusing but you are not alone... We offer a safe place, where you will be met with compassion, understanding and no judgement. The group is run by Helen and Baylie, and they aim to cover different subjects at each group to provide insight and understanding about addiction.

The group is open to anyone (aged 18+) who is struggling with a loved ones addiction - we really hope to see you there!

📢 Fundraising Legend! 📢

On Sunday 19th April, our resident Louis is taking on the Coventry Half Marathon 🏃‍♂️ to raise funds for The Dynamo Project — and we couldn’t be prouder of him.

Every penny raised will go directly towards helping more people who are struggling with addiction, giving them the support and opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Louis has shared his story from the heart on his GoFundMe page, explaining exactly why this challenge means so much to him. It’s powerful, honest, and truly worth a read.

Today we said goodbye to Frazer, who leaves the project after 13 months 😊.

It's an amazing feeling when you see someone leave, this lad was completely broken when he arrived, with no hope and could not see a way out.

This lad has battled his way to earn a new way of life, he recently celebrated one year clean and sober, he is now a fully qualified barber and today he got the keys to his brand new home 🏡.

Frazer is an example that no matter our circumstances, we can can turn our lives around and achieve all the things we once thought were unachievable 💯.

He now moves onto his next chapter and the life he continues to build will be down to him and his ongoing commitment to his recovery. We all believe in him and today, its clear he believes in himself.

It's bittersweet to see one of us leave, he has been a part of our community for so long but his leaving now creates an opportunity for someone who is where Frazer once was.

Thank you Frazer for all your hard work and we wish you all the best, we are forever proud ❤️.

As addicts and alcoholics, we must not be defined by who we were, we are defined by who we become and today Frazer, you are defined by the example you have set and in life, if that inspires one person to follow your path then what more can you ask for.

Go smash life, and never look back ✨️.....

Huge congratulations Ryan, on reaching 60 days clean and sober 😊.

Ryan has been a wonderful addition to the project, he has worked incredibly hard, and has taken a life in recovery as seriously as it needs to be.

He has faced many issues in his life but he is now willing to get the support that he needs and understands that to get to where he needs to be then he must address his addiction issues before all else.

He has never moaned, he has gone about his business the right way, he is open minded and willing to do whats required 💯.

We are so proud of him, 60 days is an amazing achievement and we now continue on this path and see what the future holds ❤️.

Huge congratulations to our resident Pete, who celebrates 10 months clean and sober 😊.

Pete is someone we know very well, having been with us previously and then returning 10 months ago with a determination to try and do things differently.

For 10 months now, he has kept his head down, worked hard and is now as far along in his recovery as he's ever been 💯.

Pete is now thinking how his life looks next and what the next steps are for him to take, he doesn't want to rush, he is taking his time and ensuring the decisions he makes will help sustain him and his recovery long term.

We don't have to find an answer for all our questions immediately, that brings pressure and expectations but Pete is doing it the right way, and even the fact he is, shows huge behavioural change.

Congratulations Pete, your a great lad who no doubt will thrive even more in the future 😊.

We are a few days late posting this, so apologies John but we are so proud of him as he celebrates 14 months clean and sober 😊.

There is not a lot more we can say about this man, in fact, maybe we can think of a few....

Consistent
Dedicated
Humble
Hard working
Caring
Compassionate
Empathetic

And above all else, an inspiration to so many, paticularly our newer residents 💯.

Oh, and he has a marathon coming up in a few weeks, plus volunteering with ourselves and two other organisations as he is desperate to give back.

Actually there was more we could say 😅.

Huge congratulations to Mazi, who today celebrates 1 year sober 😊.

With a smile that lights up any room, this man has been an amazing resident and the change in him over this past year has been incredible 💯.

I dont think even he thought he could get sober, not only get sober, but remain sober and to do so for a year is incredible ✨️.

He is one of the warmest and friendliest guys you will ever meet, from his love of computers to his love of ping pong, he is certainly one of a kind.

He is now the father he always knew he could be and is now thinking about what is next for him as he gets back to his life with his family.

One thing he doesn't love, is the gym, and even when in there, he stuggles with the biggest smile on his face 😅.

We can't be perfect in all areas, what he has displayed is effort and dedication in enough areas to get to where he is today, and we are all so proud of him ❤️.

Huge congratulations Mazi, you are an amazing guy, a great example of what can be achieved and today is all about you.

The secret in changing ourselves is not solely focused on fighting the old you, but focusing energy on building a new you 💯.

For one whole year, Mazi has focused on building his new future 🙌.
