This man is called Pete, and he is celebrating 9 months clean and sober 😊.

Its hard to believe we are in a position to write this post, and every single word written is truthful as he has worked his socks off to not only get clean and sober, but to stay that way.

He is one of the most loveable and caring guys you could ever meet, Pete like most of us who struggled with addiction issues has been through some really low times, active addiction can bring out the worst in us. However, recovery brings to the surface who we truly are, and in Pete's case he has shown how dedicated he is to change, he has showed humility, courage and a desire to find a way out of active addiction 💯.

He is funny, we love his sense of humour and he has helped a lot of our newer residents settle in and find their way.

We have nothing but love and respect for Pete, today this man has that for himself ❤️.

Good morning everyone, my name is Frazer and I recently celebrated 1 year clean and sober 😊.

I am now in a position where I would like to take the next step in my recovery journey and that is to move out of my accommodation I am currently in and move into my own place.

This decision is hugely important to me and I want to ensure that where I move to is safe and ideally I would like to go down the private landlord route as I am concerned about being placed into shared accommodation that may put my recovery at risk.

I currently have enough money for a bond, I also have a guarantor if required and as a newly qualified barber, I am hoping this potential new home will help me fulfil my dream of returning to work and becoming a productive member of society 😊.

In order to help me gain stability when I leave the project, I will need a landlord that accepts DSS as this will support me in my next chapter.

If you or anyone you know can help me, then please get in touch and I will personally make contact to answer any questions that may arise.

I am fully committed to working hard to achieve my goals and I am just in need of a little help to get me on my way 💪.

Even sharing this post would be a great help, thank you all for your help and support so far, and I am really hoping I can now progress onto the next stages of my life ❤️.

My name is John and I am now 13 months clean and sober. My life has transformed over the last 13 months from when I came in. I enjoy exercising and have greatly benefitted from horse therapy, meditation, groups, cbt counselling, 1-1 support.

My kids are back in my life and I play an active role in 12 step fellowships in Coventry. My anxiety has greatly reduced and the crippling depression I suffered with has disappeared. My life is very full now thanks to the Dynamo Project and it was an honour to represent the Dynamo Project in football and Rugby 😊.

Today we celebrate with our resident Curtis as he reaches the incredible milestone of being 6 months clean and sober 😊.

We write a lot of these cleantime posts and the narrative is always the same, we praise their hard work, their commitment, their dedication in attempting to change and Curtis is no different 💯.

The words we say are the same because they are just as meaningful and truthful for whichever resident we write about, as without their hard work and commitment, they would not reach these milestones.

Curtis is a great guy, I personally find him very respectful and good to spend time with and over these past 6 months, Curtis and his support worker Will have formed a great relationship as they navigated through the good times and the difficult moments.

Their smiles say it all, huge congratulations Curtis, 6 months is amazing and you know what this means, a superb breakfast at ❤️.

Proud of you mate....

Training session number three complete....

We are making great progress as we continue our preparations for our rugby match. We will be finalising a date for when it will be held very shortly 😊.

Today we learnt about rucking and then put that into practice, the lads done so well and as always, we had a great laugh.

Huge thank you to and to Loz for all that he does for us ❤️.

This photo shows what an amazing journey these two have been on which has led to Frazer celebrating a year clean and sober today 😊.

Pete, has been Frazer's support worker throughout both times he has been with us, all in all, 18 months in total. They have worked incredibly well together and show the huge benefits of having a dedicated support worker who is with you all the way.

We don't chop and change who are residents work with, we stay together through the good times and the bad times and this is where real connection happens 💯.

For many, these could be the first real relationship they have with another.

Pete has never give up on Frazer, he has always been there for him and this photo proves every last second was worth fighting for 💪.

What an amazing day and what an amazing team these two have made 🙏.

This week’s Friends & Family Group will focus on Self-Care 💚

Caring for someone suffering from Addiction can be challenging, and it’s important to have space to care for yourself too. This is a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental group where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

You’ll find understanding, encouragement, and a safe space to connect with others who truly get it. You are not alone.

We are joined in this session by Tricia from who will be delivering a taster of her amazing work! We really hope to see you there!

'A New Chapter at Instinked Studio 🖤

Instinked Studio has always believed tattoos can mean more than just ink.

Over the years, we’ve proudly supported su***de awareness and mental health initiatives — offering free or discounted tattoos to help start conversations, reduce stigma, and stand with people during some of their darkest moments. That work shaped us, and it always will.


As we grow, we’ve reflected on how we can continue to support real change in a way that’s sustainable and deeply meaningful.


We’re proud to now be working with The Dynamo Project (Coventry) www.thedynamoproject.co.uk — a charity supporting people through drug, alcohol, and addiction recovery. What inspires us about Dynamo is their approach: they help people help themselves. Recovery earned through commitment, accountability, and hard work.


To recognise that journey, we’re offering a £60 tattoo reward to individuals who reach six months clean through the Dynamo Project. This isn’t a freebie — it’s a marker. A permanent reminder of resilience, progress, and a life reclaimed.

Our art groups have become an integral part of our day programme and yesterday our residents finished week 3 of their 4 week programme 😊.

These sessions led by Pete, shows how much creative ability our residents have and provides an amazing way to express how they feel in the form of art 🎨.

We cannot wait until next week when they produce their finished pieces 🙌.
