We’ve finished the week in the best possible way, with a visit from Candice and Claire, who have been fundraising for us with the amazing support of the local community in Bell Green and UHCW.

Thanks to their incredible efforts, they’ve donated £1,300 towards a day out for all of our residents (destination still to be decided!), and we are truly overwhelmed with gratitude.

Candice’s son, Archie, is a resident here, and it means so much to see such strong community support for both him and his recovery 🥰

A huge THANK YOU from all the staff and residents — we’ll be sure to keep you updated on where our day out takes us!

Callum’s Kabin - Returning of the light 🕯️✨

The past two weeks at The Dynamo Project have been all about slowing down, looking inward, and finding peace as we approach the end of the year.
We’ve spent our recent sessions at Callum’s Kabin embracing the stillness of the season. From the deep relaxation of guided meditations and soundbaths to the gentle flow of Tai Chi, it’s been a powerful time for everyone to reset their nervous systems and just be.
To celebrate the Winter Solstice, we leaned into the tradition of the light returning. We spent time journaling and setting intentions for the year ahead, and even hand-crafted our own beeswax candles—a physical reminder that even in the darkest times, we carry our own light forward. 🕯️
It’s a privilege to hold this space where we can celebrate our progress, connect with each other, and simply enjoy the peace of the Kabin.
As always the lads have engaged well with these sessions and we have had some profound moments of joy, growth, laughter, tears, openness and most of all connection.

We recently celebrated with our resident Rory, as he has reached the incredible milestone of being 3 months clean and sober 😊.

To see this man reach this point is something that we are sure even Rory did not think was possible. After such a long time lost to the madness, it can almost become engrained in who we are, and change isnt possible.

However, here we are, he has remained clean, thats all that matters in them early days, is there work to be done, a 100%. Does Rory need to make better decisions at times, a 100%, but what he has given himself is breathing space to allow the dust to settle, the fog to clear and we can now start to work on actual long term behavioural change 💯.

Congratulations Rory, we are so proud of you, we know there is so much more to come from you and we are here with you every step of the way ❤️.

We are so proud of our resident Matt, who recently celebrated 3 months clean and sober 🙂

Matt is a great lad who came to us recognising that he wants to do life differently and recovery is providing him with this chance 🙏 Matt is really engaging with all the aspects of the project and we are beginning to see some real changes in him - we couldn't be prouder of what he has achieved so far 🙌

Thank you to the amazing The Horse and People Project 😊....

Another .dynamoproject group completed their programme yesterday.
Over the last few weeks they’ve shown up with a level of openness and honesty that isn’t always easy to find. Watching them lean into the process, develop real connection and understanding with the horses and support each other has been a privilege.
We are so proud of all of the lads and wish them the very best 💙

This is Mikey and he recently celebrated 8 months clean and sober and we are so immensely proud of him! 😁

Mikey has been with us before, and he came back to us with a deeper desire to make recovery work for him and his effort and commitment since then are a testament to the man he is becoming 🤩 Mikey has worked hard in every part of the programme 🙌 and is a wonderful example of how recovery can change your life 👍

We are delighted for our resident Kieran, who is celebrating 5 months clean and sober 😊.

Kieran has worked incredibly hard these past 5 months, he is so politeful, respectful and has taken his recovery journey seriously.

He has suffered setbacks in the past, he understands the pain around relapse, however, although he has fallen, he has always got back up and has fought for a better future.

Congratulations Kieran 🎊, you are doing everything required and more, you are an amazing lad, so many qualities and we feel you are starting to believe that too....

What an amazing achievement 😊.

Join us for our last session of the year, where we’ll be talking about navigating the festive season and New Year celebrations. It’s a chance to reflect on the past few months, connect with others, and move forward with new tools, new skills, and a little extra hope 💙

Our group is open to anyone who is finding it tough supporting a loved one through addiction. We offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for you to be heard and supported.

A warm welcome to everyone who has joined us this year — and to those who have been thinking about coming along, this is a great time to start.

✨ We’ll be sharing our 2026 session dates soon, and we’re excited to continue the group with lots of empowering and helpful topics planned.

We have seen a new side of Mike this time round, with more confidence 😊 more focus on his recovery and a new found talent on the football pitch! ⚽ He is showing a real willingness to be more open and honest around his recovery and a courage to find out who he is.

Over the weekend, the man pictured celebrated 7 months clean and sober 😊 and we couldn't be prouder! 🤩

Adam is a brilliant resident, committed, determined, resilient, hugely kind and funny too! He is putting everything into changing his life with us here at The Dynamo Project and it is a pleasure and privilege to see the man he is becoming!

Addiction doesn’t have to define us. It may explain some of our past, but it does not determine our worth or our future. Recovery is about reclaiming identity — choosing who we want to be, one decision at a time.

We are so proud of our resident Preston, as he recently celebrated 3 months clean and sober 😊.

Preston is a good lad, only 19 years old but that hasn't stopped him seeking the help he needed.

He is very polite, happy to do whats asked of him and we couldn't be any prouder of what he has achieved so far 💯.

2026 promises to be a fantastic year for this young man, he has a baby imminent and has shown himself that he can get through the rigours of every day life without the use of substances.

Congratulations Preston 🎊....

A fine example to anyone out there who is struggling, age is not important, making the changes to our lives is more important then the age we make them ❤️.
