Bear with me on this as i primarily work with horses but the principles are so similar to humans. The horse could be your mode of training? how you are, effects your ability to perform.
Where do I start with this one? So many factors to consider and so many outcomes to face.
Firstly from a bodywork prospective: Asymmetry is the art of identifying stacked layers, coupled with a knowledge of anatomy to facilitate a return to normal function. Where the pain is, isn't always Where it has started.
This whole webinar was centered around the partnership between you and your horse, and how you effect each other. Getting your horse treated is fantastic but it doesn't achieve the best outcome if you are still crooked and impacting on your horses movement.
Motion influences structure- influences compensation- influences immobility...( by this point I would hope you have called out a professional to help conclude what the cause might be.) Dysfunction is a reflection of compensation and time. I have said it lots but every part of you is connected from the head to the toes, connected through myofascial lines that are like elastic bands that move and effect each other with every movement. Keeping yourself straight is just as important as your horse! You as the carer/owner are the origin of the horses fix. And you should be surrounding yourself with a team that keeps you both on top form. I know we don't like to look after ourselves but we are equally as important in keeping the horses sound and happy.
