The Met Office has issued a warning wind and rain for Warwickshire for this Friday and Saturday due to Storm Claudia.

Resident Doctors have begun five days of industrial action that will last until 7am on Wednesday 19th November.

We have been working hard to put plans in place to protect patient safety and minimise disruption. Unless you have been contacted by us, please continue to attend for booked appointments or procedures.

Our Emergency Department will be busy but we are still here to provide emergency care when you need it. When the situation is not an emergency, please contact NHS 111.

The Cardiology team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust have reached a milestone in their service delivery, marking the 50th atrial fibrillation patient to be treated with PulseSelect Pulse Field Ablation.

The Trust is just the second centre in the UK to have reached the milestone, with the team now able to treat three patients per day compared to two previously.

Partners across the Coventry and Warwickshire healthcare system – including UHCW, George Eliot, South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, GP Alliance and Coventry University - have achieved highly commended status at the RLDatix Awards Europe 2025.

The team has been recognised for collaborative excellence in the Integrated and System-Wide Care category thanks to its Newly Qualified Recruitment Collaboration.

The collaboration was recognised during judging for its impact and commitment to improvement. The initiative introduced a centralised recruitment and placement process for Newly Qualified Nurses across each of the partner organisations.
