Over-responsibility often begins as survival.
Learning to carry everyone else so you don’t become a burden yourself.
But at some point, that pattern starts costing you.
Honouring your needs isn’t selfish, it’s a return to truth.
With the right support, it’s safe to loosen the grip, to do things differently, and to move at a pace that feels right for you.

For many high-functioning women, emotions were learned to be managed, softened, or hidden in order to stay safe or keep the peace. Over time, the body learns to react before words can form.

When you understand why this happens, you move from self-blame to self-compassion; and from reacting to choosing how you want to respond.

Anxiety rises when your nervous system recognises something familiar, a tone, a pressure, a dynamic, and reacts as if you’ve been here before.
Your body shifts into survival mode because something feels unfinished or unprocessed.

And when your system believes you’re not safe you can’t think your way out of it, which is why positive thinking never lasts. 🌿

Your body isn’t failing you. It’s protecting you with old strategies that no longer fit the life you want.

A cozy wonderful little event on Sunday 14th December where it’s not too late to think of the goals and dreams and desires for next year held in a beautiful little café join us for a warm drink and cake as we bring in our ambitions for the next for the New Year visualise them and then put them into practice!
