Remembering Coventryโs Civilians
Coventry Funeral Service was honoured to attend the Remembrance Service on behalf of Coventry City Councilโs Bereavement Services.
London Road Cemetery hosted this yearโs annual ceremony to remember and honour the civilian lives lost as a direct result of the night of 14th November 1940.
The cemetery holds 808 graves marking those who lost their lives during the Blitz of 1940 and 1941. The service was attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, the Bishop of Coventry, and serving and retired members of the Armed Forces.
It was a privilege to attend and to lay a wreath in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
