What a year it has been with you all!

We could not be more thankful for all the love, support and togetherness you all bring to each and every one of us!

2025 has brought new faces, the return of faces known before, bonds that can’t be replaced and the loss of those we love and will always remember.

Christmas is officially done for 2025!

We have all had such a wonderful time

Christmas decorations are down and the home looks bare but also feels refreshing to have all the lights and tinsel away, back to our usual comfy cosy home!

Tomorrow is the last day of the year, how has that happened!!

Well well well it’s finally here!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYONE!!

Here some of what we have been up to this week so far!

We went on an Elf Hunt on Monday!
Exercise class in the afternoon

Tuesday we had our annual Christmas party, full of family, friends, dancing, staff pass the parcel, raffle and a visit from the big man himself SANTA, so he check up on everyone before the big day tomorrow, making sure the naughty and nice lists were all correct!

We also had Andy with us Tuesday morning for a Christmas sing-along, this always makes Lily’s day!

Today was Pj day we enjoyed a take away, either chippy or McDonald’s, play a Christmas pass the parcel, listened to Christmas music and watched Christmas movies!

Mary enjoyed a phone call with her friend, laughing and catching up, Mary even got us all to sing jingle bells for her 🔔

We have had lots of family and friends visit and we can’t wait to see what Christmas and Boxing Day brings!

Enjoy your Christmas Eve everyone and make sure you go to sleep, otherwise santa won’t leave you any gifts!

Mary and Ann singing Christmas Carols while relaxing in the lounge this afternoon!

It’s been pouring down here in Coventry so we have had a cosy day watching Christmas movies, music and eating mince pies and cake!

Yesterday was just Beautiful!

Mary and Margaret wanted to do some Christmas baking so everyone from the kitchen made it happen!

They made gingerbread men, brownie pudding bites and ginger and white chocolate cookies!

We made another wish come true, a lady living here has become really close to our Duke of Edinburgh volunteer Ava, so they enjoyed a meal together in our very own pub and exchanged gifts.

Ava is a brilliant artist and she created some beautiful works of art for this lady’s room, which are now up on the wall for her to see everyday!

In the evening we had the pleasure of hosting a carol service, they were from our resident Christopher’s church, it was great to have them, share drinks and mince pies and sing some classic Christmas carols!

This absolutely made Christopher’s day being able to see everyone again!
