Yesterday was world mental health day.

So many people keep things bottled in, fighting a battle which no one will know about, normally because they are afraid or don't want to worry others. It is always Ok to not be Ok but know that you always have someone to talk to.

Finding ways to deal with quieting down you’re mind maybe getting outdoors and going for a long walk, going swimming, have a long bath, read a book, just moving you’re body, getting you’re blood flow going is great for resetting you’re mind. Doing this helps to change you’re mindset, making you feel calmer and giving yourself a chance to just press the pause button. One thing from personal experience is to remember even though it might not feel it at the time, everything is only temporary whether it be an emotion or a situation, things will get better.

If anyone would like to try a yoga class for free or knows anyone who needs some time out to focus on themselves please drop me a message.

It’s ok to not be ok and it’s ok to speak about things, my door is always open to anyone who wants a chat or needs someone to talk to 💖

What makes yoga special for you?

For me I love just switching off from everything else going on, taking some time to just focus on moving and listening to my body 🧘‍♀️ I can’t explain how it makes me feel because every time I come onto my mat I feel different it’s hard to put into words ✨

As well as all the physical benefits yoga is so much more than that! Yoga is a moving form of meditation, combining movements and postures with your breath to slow down your thoughts giving you time to switch off and check in on you. Remember to look after yourself and take some time out of your busy schedule to focus some attention on you. Remembering you are important 💜

How are you?

Do you ever stop and ask yourself how you truly feel?
It is ok to feel anyway that you need to feel whether that be anxious and sad or positive and hopeful. In a world where everything is so fast paced, we seem to forget to check in on ourselves.

Learning how to acknowledge how we are feeling and how to accept this is how to deal with your emotions. Learning how to look at a situation and still find some good, positives, love and happiness is what it’s all about.

Taking a moment to pause and think, remembering to breathe. In the current situation just remember to take some time for you, acknowledging any emotions or thoughts. Just remembering that any feeling or moment won't last forever, try to focus you're attention on the right now. Staying in the present ✨

All of my classes have options for everyone, from beginners to more experienced, using progressions or modifications to suit your needs, making sure everyone feels comfortable.
