So, from time to time we all need some little goals/challenges to keep us on our toes and to give us something to focus on. I have set myself one or two for 2022 and will use this page to help make myself accountable for the targets I set myself. Plus, some people said that last year they found some of my F/B posts of my marathon training journey interesting and inspiring, and maybe this year will be the same too.
My main goal for 2022 is to try and run a total of 1000 miles. I reached just under 900 last year and I'm hoping with the correct planning I could improve on this this year. I've also signed up for "John O'Groats to Lands End" (JOGLE) which is 874 miles. I achieved this last year when I ran in the other direction (LEJOG).
So, as it stands in January, I need to run approx. 72.83 miles per month to achieve JOGLE and 83.33 for 1000miles. I've planned my running goals into my diary with my anticipated millage to help me keep on track. Fingers crossed I can stay on track and get my little challenges off to a good start.
