O Romeo, Romeo wherefor art thou?

The final horse installment is our dear big boy Romeo. He is a soft goofy teddy bear who loves to please - a labrador in horse form if you will 🤭

He can be a little anxious and is a bit or a worrier. He likes to use his brain, be given praise and told how much of a good boy he is ✨️

No sign of his juliette just yet, until then he will take cuddles from anyone! 🫶

Eclipse says: All you need is love ❤️

Hes not quite old enough to remember The Beatles however with a birth year of 2001 hes a pensioner for sure.

Eclipse is an ex Polo horse and is loving retirement with the herd. He is usually found at the lower end of the pecking order unless something needs a real chest puff and attention ( like a hot air balloon, true story!) Then he'll see it off while everyone else is running away!

Ive never met a horse who gives such clear signals to humans. He loves close comfort from people and can often be seen reating his head in peoples heart space breathing gently into their souls.

We love you old boy! 💛

Meet the Newby...

Well, ive had Zeek for the least amount of time so he is the newest to the herd.

He can be a little timid and is great at reminding people to really slow down, thats when his cheeky side comes out.

He is becoming a valued member of the herd and adds more depth to client work.

Oh and he has the best moustache ever!

We still have a few spaces, starting in St Ronans beautiful hall for yoga, meditation and intention setting then a mindful walking through to meet the herd to double down on your fire horse for 2026.

Full name: Annie get your gun

Which is kind of fitting as she can be a sassy little mare.

Following on from yesterday's post I'm sharing the OG of my little herd. Annie.

She is the only female of the group and she can put the boys in their place with a face that very much says 'move away'

I wouldn't say she is the boss, however she is held in high ranking and the boys have half an eye on her at all times for both comfort and boundaries.

Having owned her 11 years i love her inquisitive, clear, curious, determined and gentle nature very much. And my gosh does she go mad for a bum scratch!

I dont have favourites but....

I am so happy to see each member of the herd here got a mention.

Almost everyone has their favourites for different reasons here at Healing through Horses.

Its a great reminder to me how special the horses here are, and how fortunate I am to share them with clients and attendees.

I will be sharing a new post of love each day to celebrate the day of love this Saturday 💗
