Physiotherapist MSc. Loughborough uni - 1st class Sport Science. 👩‍🎓 PT / sport massage

After gaining a first class in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, exercise physiology and human anatomy has always been a passion of mine. Similarly, exercise and particularly running has played a fundamental role throughout my life, so when I became injured, it inevitably posed much more of a mental challenge than a physical challenge. As a result, this fuelled my interest in sport injuries and using soft tissue therapy and advice as a medium to help prevent injuries before they occur. Therefore, I gained my level 3 sport massage certificate and have been on a mixture of CPD courses to further my knowledge and development, including gait analysis, kinesiology taping and various other seminars and workshops. I then completed the ISRM BTEC level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy, which is one of the highest qualifications in the industry in the UK. Following this, I completed my MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Northampton for 2 years and I am now a fully qualified physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and CSP. Physiotherapist

🙌 runner came in with peroneal tendinopathy, caused by overload combined with change of trainers 👟
We had to stop running initially to let things settle, not always the case, usually can keep running with tendon - but had to in this individual, trained around it to keep up CV fitness, then modified training, gradual exposure , added in some S and C and symptoms settled 💪
