Dry eye syndrome is a condition that occurs when there is insufficient production of tears or an imbalance in the composition of the tears.

This condition may cause discomfort ranging from mild irritation to severe pain and can lead to damage to the cornea if left untreated.

The symptoms of dry eye syndrome include, redness, dryness, itching, burning, blurred vision and sensitivity to light.

With us all spending more time in front of digital devices, dry eye syndrome is becoming more common. Our latest blog provides more information on the condition.

Dry eyes occur when the eyes either don’t make enough tears, or the quality of the tears produced is reduced, which means the tears can evaporate rapidly from the surface of the eye, allowing the eyes to dry.

Did you know there's a quick and easy way to treat your child's vision if they are myopic?

It's called Menicon BloomTM Night.

Menicon Bloom Night is a form of overnight corrective contact lens, also referred to as orthokeratology lenses. They help to slow the progression of myopia whilst also correcting your vision. You wear the lenses whilst asleep and they gently reshape the outer layer of the cornea. This helps to slow down the progression of myopia as well as allowing clear vision during the day without the need for glasses or contact lenses.
