The Full Moon on November 5th is another super moon, amplifying its spiritual energy. (A super moon is when it reaches its closest point to Earth in its orbit, almost at the exact same time it reaches its full phase.)
Itโ€™s known as the Beaver Moon because at this time of year the Native American tribes set their beaver traps.
This moon invites us to focus on building a solid foundation for the Winter ahead.
The earthy and grounded Ta**us energy highlights themes of security, material resources. However, there is also Scorpio energy bringing an intense, transformative undercurrent, inviting deep introspection and emotional release. It is a time to shed old emotional patterns, relationships or financial entanglements that no longer serve our growth, and to confront fears surrounding power and control.
We can build resilience, before the darker months of rest and reflection.
We could contemplate the following to see if there are areas we could develop:
๐Ÿ’šDo we have strong relationships with supportive family members, friends or community?
There are times to withdraw and times to consciously make an effort to stay connected with others.
๐Ÿ’šDo we view ourselves in a positive light and with compassion?
We can feel good about the progress weโ€™ve made this year. We can try to build our confidence and trust our judgment.
๐Ÿ’š Do we accept that change is inevitable?
We cannot control certain situations. The spiritual message is to remain flexible, curious and open to change.
๐Ÿ’šThere are always difficulties but sometimes we may be able to keep them in perspective and use these experiences as opportunities for personal growth.
๐Ÿ’šTaking care of our physical self is vital for our emotional strength. Self care is a priority. Enjoy good food, walks in nature and cosy restful evenings.
This is potent time to balance the need for comfort and stability with the necessity of personal transformation, preparing our inner world for a quiet, restorative Winter season. ๐Ÿ™

Samhain, a Celtic celebration, marks the Celtic New Year and the end of the harvest season, transitioning into the darker half of the year, which is associated with rest, introspection, and renewal.
It invites us to honour Mother Earth and the cycle of life and death. During this time, it is believed that the spirit world is closer; we remember deceased ones and their wisdom.
The colours of black and orange, ๐ŸŽƒassociated with Samhain, represent death and the renewal of the light.๏ฟฝIt is a time for reflection and for shedding the old, to plant seeds for new growth in the Spring. As nature slows down, Samhain encourages us to retreat from the busy Summer in favour of quiet contemplation, rest and recuperation. ๏ฟฝWe can enjoy light, warmth and protection from the element of fire. We may feast in celebration of the final harvest and the earth's abundance. It is a good time to take meditative nature walks and feel the connection to Mother Earth. ๐Ÿ‚
This is a time for looking inward and finding stillness, which can be achieved through quiet yoga poses, breathwork, meditation and journaling to support shadow work and self reflection. ๐Ÿ™
