For over 15 years, Rivers Women's Charity has seen first-hand the impact of giving to vulnerable women; giving time, respect, safety, opportunities, and a voice.

This International Women's Day, as we embrace the theme “Give to Gain”, we reflect on a simple truth: when women are supported to thrive, communities grow stronger.

Giving to women is not charity alone; it is investment in families, futures, and community wellbeing. When women’s lived experiences are heard and valued, better services are shaped, stronger partnerships are built, and lasting change becomes possible.

Cervical screening helps prevent cancer - and you have choices to make the appointment work for you.

Did you know you can:
✔ Ask for a female clinician
✔ Request a quiet or longer appointment
✔ Bring someone with you
✔ Ask for a chaperone
✔ Be added back to the recall list if you previously opted out by mistake
