How does a holistic approach to core training and improving your pelvic health actually work?

It works on improving the connection between the diaphragm and pelvic floor with breath. Teaching us to relax and switch off the pelvic floor is as important as posture and reducing downward pressure.

With Hypopressives we learn to create lift in the abdomen this is the magic bit that reduces abdominal separation, lifts pelvic organ prolapses and strengthens the connective tissue.

This month we are doing more in person training.

Lizzie starts her NEW Pilates class in Barnstable and Sarah is running a workshop in Sussex.

The Fitter Floor and Core workshop will give you an understanding of what impacts your core and pelvic floor.

It gives you the basic tools to start improving pelvic floor weakness, prolapse symptoms, diastasis recti, back pain and post abdominal surgery recovery.

This workshop will teach you the basic Hypopressive technique so you can continue to practice at home.

Copthorne West Sussex close to the Surrey border

When:
Sunday 25th January 12:45-14:15
Then come back
Sunday 8th February
12:45-14:15

You need to attend both days of this workshop.

Price:
This is small group training so places are limited. You will receive exercises to practice in between workshop dates and join a WhatsApp group to help you stay motivated and be able to ask questions.

The workshop is £50 per person.

Do you struggle to find time for you?

Do you feel guilty if you haven’t done everything you felt needed doing?

Do you get mum guilt when you do something for you?

Do you focus on what you haven’t achieved rather than what you have?

These are all topics that come up in our community when we talk about self care and finding time to heal.

If you feel this way you are not alone!!

One of our lovely members said “so what?” That’s what she asks herself when she puts an obstacle in the way of self care.

So what if ….the house isn’t tidy!!

So what if ….. I don’t do the ironing today!!!

Yes there are jobs we need to do, things we need to prioritise but in our day could we find 5 minutes to do our Hypopressives? 10 minutes to stop and breath. 15 minutes to go for a walk round a frozen lake (ok took an hour but you get my point). 30 minutes to do a workout.

Our health and mental wellbeing are worth looking after, if we are well we can accomplish so much more and complete all those other tasks feeling better.

We don’t need to be working out for hours, we don’t need social media making us feel
Inadequate or like we are failing compared to others. We just need to find what makes us feel good.

We are back baby!!

Live classes online and community classes start back today.

Lizzie is online with two classes this morning 9:15 low impact class to burn off that those Christmas cobwebs then Pilates at 10:05.

Sarah is in Crawley teaching Keep Fit at 9:30 the Pilates 10:30 & 11:30.

We know you are probably getting bombarded by the fitness posts at the moment and it can make you feel pretty rubbish.

We don’t make any wild claims we just will be there for you week in, week out offering an exercise solution for women feeling broken to get back to moving. For women living with prolapse and pelvic health issues knowing they are in safe hands and we will look after you.

We hope you all are doing well.

Christmas can be a time of mixed emotions and it’s not always easy.

Today is a new day with a chance to have a bit of normality 🤪 whatever that is.

It’s a beautiful day for a walk, maybe a work out or just a chance to get the house straight 🫣

I’m sure some of you are seeing family and friends trying to fit everyone in over this time.

Wow, what a year! Lots of changes and growth in scary and good ways.

Thank you to all who have continued to show up for themselves and bought smiles to our faces. We love watching you looking after you. We know its not always consistent and life gets in the way, thats all part of the journey, just keep going, you've got this! 💕

We really do LOVE what we do, so let us tell you about it.

We work with women who need help and support in building a stronger body from the inside out.

We do not build six packs, write weight loss plans, sell you shakes or supplements, coach for body building competitions or sports competitions or work with women who aren’t committed to put in the work needed to make a change to their circumstances.

We d0 work with women who want to stop leaking when they sneeze, cough or jump, want to fix their Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) want to reduce the symptoms of a prolapse or have a specific need to rebuild their core.
